Hmmm…I don’t know about all of Song Kang’s dramas doing well on Netflix since this is my first time actually liking a kdrama from him.

Also, the drama is not flopping domestically. It’s doing decently in Korea. I would agree with you if it had a 2% or less viewership rating. Plus the recent episode had the highest viewership rating for the drama and almost reached 5%, which is pretty good.

People need to stop falling for this obvious troll. They were comparing it with Worst of Evil the other day, which is a completely different genre. And complaining about the mdl rating like it’s not that serious. I get romantic dramas aren’t for you. They seem to dislike them. They even complained about Twinkling Watermelon’s rating

It’s going to be on Amazon prime. I don’t have the subscription for that. I guess I’ll watch it through dramacool.

This kdrama is really good. It helped me get back into kdramas. So I highly recommend it.

Relax. No one said it was a unique story. If you read the comments, a lot of people know that it’s not unique. People just wanted to watch something light hearted and fun. There are also other kdramas with a 8.6 rating or higher rating and they also don’t have unique stories. For example, Business Proposal. So I don’t see how this is a big problem. People rated these dramas based on enjoyment.

Hmmm…Maybe jdramas can market themselves like cdramas and they will gain a bigger audience. For example, lots of cdramas are posted on YouTube and this has gained them a big following. This will also help with jdramas ratings.

I really loved episode 6. It was so funny and cute. I think this is the first time I am enjoying a kdrama that’s from Netflix.

In my personal opinion, I don’t think ratings really matter. Most of the time people rate dramas/ movies based on enjoyment. Also, there are other romcoms (that have similar plots) that are rated as high or even higher than My Demon. Also, worst of evil is a very different drama. It’s more serious and darker. While My Demon is a romcom. So I wouldn’t compare the two. Its all based on preference.

How come people use this same excuse to drag this drama? I think some people are watching a different drama because the acting is fine and the plot is simple and it was never meant to be mind blowing. And the plot is just about a demon falling in love with a human. It’s cute and fun. If you’re not a fan of romcoms then this drama isn’t for you.

I used google translate and it basically says the rumored names such as Song Wei Long and Bai Jingting is just speculation. It also says not to attack any of the actors rumored to be involved in this drama because it’s all just rumors. That’s what I got from using google translate.

I read the webtoon for this and it’s really good. So I’m super excited about this drama.

I don’t really care about the actors personal life. That’s their business. I just really wanted to watch this drama since it was announced. So I’m happy that it’s finally airing.

I honestly don’t understand the hate towards this drama. In my personal opinion, it’s a nice and fun drama. The only thing I can think of is they’re hating on it due to its huge popularity.

Agree. I hope Zhang Ling He gets the role. I also remember when he used to do youthful dramas and he was very good in them. He’s also doing a costume drama with Youku so hopefully they consider him for this drama.

That’s interesting to hear because I felt late 2023 kdramas definitely got me back into kdramas. With Twinkling Watermelon being the first kdrama that got me interested in kdramas again.

I’m really enjoying it so far. Episode 3 may be a bit slow but episode 4 is a lot more entertaining and funny.

I love both shows but they’re both very different. Perfect Marriage Revenge is more of a melodrama. While My Demon is more of a romcom. Plus My Demon has 16 episodes and PMR has 12 episodes so the pacing is normal for a 16 episode kdrama.
