In my personal opinion, I don’t think ratings really matter. Most of the time people rate dramas/ movies based on enjoyment. Also, there are other romcoms (that have similar plots) that are rated as high or even higher than My Demon. Also, worst of evil is a very different drama. It’s more serious and darker. While My Demon is a romcom. So I wouldn’t compare the two. Its all based on preference.

How come people use this same excuse to drag this drama? I think some people are watching a different drama because the acting is fine and the plot is simple and it was never meant to be mind blowing. And the plot is just about a demon falling in love with a human. It’s cute and fun. If you’re not a fan of romcoms then this drama isn’t for you.

I used google translate and it basically says the rumored names such as Song Wei Long and Bai Jingting is just speculation. It also says not to attack any of the actors rumored to be involved in this drama because it’s all just rumors. That’s what I got from using google translate.

I read the webtoon for this and it’s really good. So I’m super excited about this drama.

I have been forward toward this drama since the 1st trailer dropped. So I’m super excited.

I don’t really care about the actors personal life. That’s their business. I just really wanted to watch this drama since it was announced. So I’m happy that it’s finally airing.

I honestly don’t understand the hate towards this drama. In my personal opinion, it’s a nice and fun drama. The only thing I can think of is they’re hating on it due to its huge popularity.

Agree. I hope Zhang Ling He gets the role. I also remember when he used to do youthful dramas and he was very good in them. He’s also doing a costume drama with Youku so hopefully they consider him for this drama.

That’s interesting to hear because I felt late 2023 kdramas definitely got me back into kdramas. With Twinkling Watermelon being the first kdrama that got me interested in kdramas again.

I really loved the recent episode. I’m really good to miss this kdrama because it was one the first dramas that got me back into kdramas.

I’m really enjoying it so far. Episode 3 may be a bit slow but episode 4 is a lot more entertaining and funny.

I love both shows but they’re both very different. Perfect Marriage Revenge is more of a melodrama. While My Demon is more of a romcom. Plus My Demon has 16 episodes and PMR has 12 episodes so the pacing is normal for a 16 episode kdrama.

I also remember the hate train by some cnetz for Fireworks of My Heart. Sure, it wasn’t the best drama but it also wasn’t the worst. It was definitely overhated by cnetz.

Idk about the fan wars but both dramas are very successful. TSPCM seems to be doing very well in Korea. While My Demon is doing very well internationally.

Oh. People are saying it’s a bad drama with no plot and bad acting. I disagree because the acting is fine and it’s just a simple plot. It was also never intended to be a mind blowing plot. The drama also barely got started. The first 2 episodes is more of an introduction to the characters. So I would wait for more episodes to be released to fully judge it. So far, it’s entertaining and a fun watch.

Woah…I never realized how My Demon is very hated. Especially in that post of it trending on Netflix in 70 countries. I’m hoping this hate train calms down because in my opinion it’s very good so far. It’s also too early to judge because there’s only 2 episodes out.

Oh. I think he’s done very well and has definitely improved since Nevertheless.

I thought it was doing very well in SK (Ignoring the tv viewership in sk) But Isn’t it #1 on Netflix over there?

I don’t understand why some people are too critical towards this drama. I thought it was known it was just going to be a fun drama just by looking at the trailer. Anyways, I love it and it’s very enjoyable so far.

Ok. I can’t believe people especially on Reddit take her reviews seriously. If people want to look at better reviewers, they should check out Cdrama Invasion. Even tho they barely post.
