A Very Special Drama
What can I say except I am crying because this drama is over. My all time favorite drama, Hidden Love, has ALMOST and POSSIBLY been replaced with the super sweet drama. Wow, I really loved each and every episode. The "best thing" about this drama is that this kind of love is possible. It is quite rare because people don't appreciate the person they are with and love themselves enough to brave understanding their partner. It felt like their love was more equal than say the second leads where the girl's needs seemed to be first priority in her eyes. That kind of love is probably more realistic, but not what most would want after watching this drama. Sigh.......thank you for making such a heartwarming drama that I looked forward to watching each day. I will certainly watch it several more times.Was this review helpful to you?
Sigh...It's Over Already
I have enjoyed watching this drama. FL started off pretty lame, but became stronger. There is good chemistry between the leads and can't wait for Season 2 to see more. They could have taken this to 40 episodes with all the open ends left to see the outcomes that will definitely cause more problems before it gets better.Was this review helpful to you?
Not An Easy Plot To Follow
I truly have enjoyed this drama. I am having a hard time following what is going on. The plot jumps all over the place with no clear leads into the next scene. I will rewatch and maybe grasp the story. The war is the hardest to keep up with. The individual cleansing of evil when the disciples come together to kill evil, is easy to follow. There are just so many holes in this drama that I can't even fill them in with my imagination. The drama definitely doesn't get too detailed, but if I'm left scratching my head, then there is not enough details. I just love watching YangYang to be honest. I love that he is not stoned faced throughout, but actually smiles and endears my heart to the characters he cares about. The one love scene was shocking and unexpected. Then ...nothing more between the two since then. I don't get it, but like I said, there is so much I don't get the reason for. Gotta Love This Crew
I have read some scathing reviews on other sites which baffles me. Thank goodness this was not like Joy To Life S2 which was not to my liking. I didn't finish that drama, but I am very happy with this one. I am glad it is not exactly the same vibe as S1. It's a little darker. The tears have fallen on the last two episodes I've watched. I still have Ep. 22 to 25 to go. I am all in on this story and will hate to see it end. I wish Jianci had been in more episodes. I think brother got way obsessed and I actually found myself hating him and filled with disgust. Zhang Wan Yi is a great actor. His eyes show a lot of emotion. Everyone acted great. Pretty Much Real To Life
This is a solid drama with great actors. I have laughed, cried and felt very uncomfortable at times. The lies and omission of telling partner their real thoughts, is my discomfort. Of course, when starting a relationship, omitting certain details are allowed. I can reflect on my past and realize I took the more difficult path just because coming clean is hard to admit. Be Prepared To Cry
One of the best dramas... unexpectedly. The ML and FL don't seem like they would gel together, but their acting skills are way more than I had hoped for. I think I have shed tears almost every episode. Misconceptions from people who are not involved with their lives also happens in real life. I think if people would just start a negative journal for commenting when they encounter posts they can't possibly understand, instead of venting on the post, life would be more peaceful for everyone. Sleeping Gem
I almost quit watching this after about 5 minutes, but super glad I didn't. This short drama series is pretty funny. I love the ML and that he has 3 fiances that all come to admire him. The funny comes at unexpected times. All the actors are serious, but the ML and his father are the comic relief. I can only imagine the BTS and retakes because they surely cracked up with laughter trying to do some scenes. I am surprised I have stayed glued to the screen waiting on the next antic to laugh at. The drama moves along quickly without stretching any scenes for several episodes. It's a light drama that is quite entertaining. I normally don't like obvious humor, but this drama isn't over the top slap stick or I really wouldn't watch it. All the actors are great and love how the villains have some great one-liners. I will tell the response of one villain that I'm still giggling about without revealing which one it is. "What just happened!?" "I just got slapped and sent flying!" Hahahahaha, hopefully when you see this scene, the disbelief on the villains face and his tone of voice will keep you giggling for a bit.Was this review helpful to you?
One of the Best Dramad
I have watched this drama 3 times since it aired. It never fails to make me LOL and bawls my eyes out. I put it in the category of all time greatest. From the smallest and youngest actors all the way up to the eldest actors, it's just a magical piece. It's a rare episode that nothing good or bad happens. You will love it from beginning to end. It made me wish I had "brothers of another mother" in my life. You just can't go wrong watching this drama.Was this review helpful to you?

One Of The Best If 2024
I am all in with this drama. I see some people are disappointed because it has humor and wanted it to be dark the entire show. You HAVE to have the relief from the darkness to enjoy it when you are traveling through it. Genius director and script writer(s). Episode 9 had me so enthralled that I got irritated at my dog for wanting to go outside to relieve herself. Thankfully I can push pause and miss nothing. The title is misleading because I thought this was about vampires and almost didn't watch it. I can't rave about this drama too much. The guest actors are so great to watch. The leads and 2nd leads including the young boy, make this drama worth your time. I have laughed, I have cried and I want more episodes than just 2 per day. Pretty Good Drama
My favorite actors in this drama are the Uncle and "over weight" sister, plus the cute as hell goose. They are the scene stealers every time they show up IMO. I laugh at their antics over to eat or not eat the goose. I wish their was a different FL and this would be a perfect drama. FL's acting has not improved and her monotone and baby talk words are ridiculous to listen to. I truly wish one of the hundreds of actresses that China has, a different one could have been chosen. Love This Drama
Actually ALL the characters in this drama blend together to make a very entertaining watch. The only flaw is how obscure the ML, Wang Xi Qi, is coming across. His facial expressions and his eyes do not reflect his feelings for the FL, Lu Yu Xiao. I am definitely a fan of hers. Her acting is superb, she is beautiful and the subtle expressions that run across her face are what makes her character so adorable. The second ML, Wang Hong Yi, is definitely out shining the ML. I wish that the ML and 2ML were reversed. I believe Wang Xi Qi should perhaps stick to modern dramas where is handsomeness shines brightly and his acting seems more real. I love Snow Kong's character and she is so beautiful in this drama. There are definitely funny and humorous parts that keep me watching this drama happily.Was this review helpful to you?
A Different Drama - In A Good Way
I am enjoying this drama immensely. The humor in this pops up unexpectedly in each episode. The leads are great together and can see the CP value will increase over time. I seem to be into the second leads these days in all dramas, but they are getting more focus and exposure, thank goodness. Using just your leads to carry the drama is a mistake IMHO. Using all the cast to bring about a great drama works the best. I hope the humor continues to make me LOL in each episode. This is not a heavy drama like I was expecting. A Hot Mess
The drama was not what I expected. It was ok up until Episode 31 when all the bizarre killings began. I didn't get why the one male character kept blaming the sect leader about the 9 people that were killed when the drama began. After talking about the the treasure through the whole drama, there was no clear sighting of what the treasure was. It was one heck of a downer at the end. Why Fix What Wasn't Broken?
I absolutely LOVED BP1. I can't count the number of times I watched this survival show. I didn't want this show to end. It wasn't perfect, but was the most perfect survival show I have seen. I was invested and dedicated to every boy on this show. We saw their sweet side, funny side, compassionate side and brotherly love side. Now let's discuss BP2. Almost every aspect of this show is wrong. From show casing every boy to the public and then to eliminating before the actual show, there were so many boys that it was actually ridiculous. They changed from having two boy bands simultaneously (one from China and one from Korea) to just having one boy band. They complicated the entire beginning confusing and upsetting many fans. Probably staff members were ultimately cut loose very early on and lost pay plus opportunities. Why couldn't they follow in the footsteps of BP1? Start with pre picked boys, audition them on TV, start the program song, add or subtract stars, start stages, let fans vote fearlessly, eliminate lower voted boys, have another stage, vote, eliminate, etc. what a cluster f#*@! BP2 has become. I am so disappointed on how this show is being produced, I have lost interest. What a shame to have a successful footprint ignored and a bunch of fruit loop ideas ruin some boy's future. I will bet there will be no successful debut like ZB1 has had.
