I agree with you but I am slightly anxious about how Sol's character would go from here. His desperation to not let Joe be with Ming is such that he was slightly manipulative this episode, what will he do when he'll see Joe getting along with Ming despite everything? He is a human too and at that point I wouldn't put it past him to loose it on Joe and ask him if he likes to be abused or something.

I don't think anything would have gone better even if he had talked to Ming back then. But yes he did run away and it was a shock for Ming to hear pack up and leave my house out of nowhere 🤣

I know peeps are laying upon Joe for being soft but what can the guy even do? He actually begged Ming to let him go, he threatened that he'll disappear somewhere, he was about to jump out of a moving car, he literally ran with Ming chasing him on the road like what else is he supposed to do, off himself? and whose to say he won't be reborn near that psycho again? Like he is badly trapped, he has been trying to avoid Ming over and over after the funeral but Ming is like Wandee in that mart popping out from every corner trying to seduce Great.

No way am I going to disrespect his efforts this time around by calling him a doormat because he really tried but he's no match of the crazed Ming towards whom his heart still leans.

Plus Sol try as he might does not have the means to protect Joe from Ming. Ming is too unhinged too powerful and Joe heart still leans towards him. So the only option left is to pray that Ming start treating Joe better as he'll leave nowhere else for Joe to go anyway no matter what Sol tries.

Exactly. They are pitting Tong against Ming as if defeating Tong will redeem Ming, as if he isn't the biggest culprit himself, as if not giving credit to Joe has anything on everything Ming has done to Joe. What a poor way to redeem Ming.
