OK, I already read the book and I know he loves Joe but still I hate ming to the hell may be I will hate this…
I've skimmed through the book, not entirely read it but I do agree with you. I expected Mings start of redemption from hereon and looks what he is doing still? I wish Id read the book in entirety so I would not have gotten my hopes up for Ming only to be dashed so badly. I am hurt this episode on behalf of Joe, ouch it's really hurts lol π₯²
Ming was worst this episode than even ep 4. I expected groveling and he was still upto his old forcing and cornering Joe. I hated Ming this ep truly. The gall of this man, the audacity the entitlement my god for a moment I thought they are going to change things from novel and make Ming a full fledged villain because that's how bad he was this episode I have no words π€
As for Mr. Joe, sure buddy you tried to resist but by lord everyone can see by this point that you would still choose Ming even if he throws you into a cauldron of boiling oil. My sympathies for you that you fell in love with such a wrong man.
And Sol my man, you are the best in my ways and you may have had a chance if Ming wasn't still clinging to your beau like a parasite. And in the presence of that parasite, you can't do nothing, neither shake Joe's heart not pull Ming away from him because he is a resourceful bastard whom you got nothing on. Even if you run to Korea with Joe I'm sure he'll easily have Joe dragged back and you probably killed.
Ming disappointed me so much this ep. I was hoping for redemption but be got worse oh my god the physco stalker kidnapper shameless remorseless manipulator and whatnot my English fails me leave Joe alone holy shit.
P.S On ep 10s preview. Making Tong a villain does not make Ming a hero godammit. I don't care make Ming sweat, don't make others look bad to make him seem good! What is this BS.
Oh he's down BAD for Ming no matter how many mental gymnastics he do to convince himself and others that he's…
Ming took a first step with atleast acknowledging that he and Tong cornered Joe to his death. With how self absorbed and delusional he is I didn't think it was above him to wonder what drove Joe to the illegal crew when he was getting such a good deal with Ming sponsering his movies. I'm hoping he'll see more sense in the coming episodes rather than just meaninglessly grovel at Joe's feet to be with him without realising his action and its impact.
Can I know your other favorites? I'm also parched for quality BLs.
Thankyou, I recently saw Never Let Me Go while waiting for the next episode of My StandIn and took a liking to Phuwan too. From there I discovered Hon Pyoon which has Up aka Mings actor too and just finished watching it. Not the best of movie but Up impressed me more there than here. I'll have a look at your watchlist too thankyou. Kinnporsche is one of the top and did you know it shares a director with Mystandin, no wonder it's that good too.
I feel so bad for Sol's unrequited but genuine love for Joe as he is the biggest green flag ever, this episode…
He surely was his type but Sol missed that chance by running away and then before he was back Joe had caught the incurable disease of loving Ming. Ming is just a lucky that he's getting a chance with Joe again despite being horrible while Sol has no such luck despite being a decent person. It's unfair but it is what it is.
Oh he's down BAD for Ming no matter how many mental gymnastics he do to convince himself and others that he's…
She is and a genius crackpot at that. Beloved Enemy adapted by China is also written by her and I can assuredly say that Ming has got nothing on the bastard there, no matter how much I reason I couldn't get behind them. There are multiple other crazy MLs written by her and somehow she's good at whatever she writes still.
I always have to laugh when they try to make us belive new Joe is more attractive than old Joe, because absolutely…
Where did they try to peddle that he's more good looking? I only remember Wut saying he's younger. But I do remember them mentioning in the first episode that Tong is better looking than Joe, but I don't know if it was meant as a joke or not by Joe's makeup artist friend. In the books though he's clearly meant to be less attractive than Tong. Either way they shouldn't have hired Poom if he was meant to be the average one.
Come think if it Joe also needs therapy. He is a glutton for punishment still being in "love" with ming after…
No amount of therapy can fix whatever he's been through. I read a comment asking if Joe is a ghost of love for Ming and it felt so true it freaked me out.
He's good looking, he just pales in comparison to Poom especially since they tried to peddle him as the "better-looking"…
It's also his non acting. First I thought he's just a bad actor but now I'm wondering if he was asked to act so stoic to highlight that he is a doll with someone else soul now. Whatever it is though it's not working.
Oh he's down BAD for Ming no matter how many mental gymnastics he do to convince himself and others that he's…
It's Mings fault. He tricked him by retracing all their steps, Joe's tiny brain in his beautiful head can't take all this and gave up π
There are a random bits here and there that highlight how much shrewdness Ming has as compared to the simple kind hearted Joe and it always makes me laugh. It also gives a bit of reassurance because if Joe is paired up with a bastard maybe he'll keep him save from the evil world easily. Yes Joe is a grown adult born twice at that but it is clear by now how much self preservation skill he has on his own, too good for this world...Or maybe I'm just looking for ways to make myself ok with the pairing that is bound to happen lol
