i didn't understand one thing. When I watched the episode again, I noticed that when Ming was kissing jeo, Tong…
Joe misunderstands that he is still Tong's stand in for Ming. So while Ming is disrespectfully degrading Joe for his audacity to talk back to him, and accuse Tong (and his audacity to get unwanted advances by others π), Mr. Tong makes his appearance and Ming changes his mood and becomes a human again for his real love ,"oh nothing is wrong just raping your stand in haha".
This difference in treatment is something Joe can't handle so came the bitter laugh as I understood it from Joe's pov.
I went ahead and read the book and I agree. There's so much that went down with Ming and his family after he found…
To be honest I wouldn't mind if they shorten his family matters significantly. It rubbed me the wrong way in the novel that now Joe is going to have to go through Ming's family as if Ming has done anything worth fighting over him like that. It's already enough that he forgave him.
For anyone who has read the novel, how does the novel resolve the issue of the two Joes? I really don't want to…
Nothing much to resolve. Joe.2 is deader than dead, only his body remains behind which Joe.1s soul will keep inhabiting because his own body is dead and rotted already.
my biggest question is just how the hell did Tong sink his claws into that family?seriously WTF?how did he charm…
Well he's charming and despite the hate he is getting, on screen he hadn't shown to be any worse than a selfish lazy jerk. Nothing like what Ming has done to Joe. And everything aside he is a top hero so of course he will be approached by the cream of the crop.
I haven't read the novel fully just skimmed here and there but for sure the other guy died when Joe's original body did, but Idk if it was detailed any further than this.
glad Joe stand his ground this episode.. people have been throwing him around the whole episode
Joe gets seriously triggered by his and Tongs comparison by Ming. Last episode he grabbed Ming's collar and this time he completely blew up. This seems to be the only thing that riles him up that fast.
And if we look from Ming's perspective he was right to be surprised by the self importance this guy was giving to himself there like a scorned wife in a lovers spat when asked who even are you infront of Tong, But of course he doesn't know it's the real Joe and being the sob that Ming is he reacted back in the worst way.
Joe lives with Ming happily ever after. But not in his own body, his original body had rotted into broken bones by the time it was found and the shock of seeing that wretched Joe out of his delusional love for Ming, for a little while only tho. I cannot wait to see that scene where they found the body, it was shocking all around.

And he's super gorgeous too. I plan on seeing more of his work after this.
