Nowadays I keep my expectations low lol because with adaptations… they never ever follow the novel to the t, beat for beat. I will never understand why they have the need to make changes to a perfectly well written novel with good characters and a seamless plot.

For some reason yushuxin has haters sticking to her like gum. They’re rating ahead to drag the drama down. It’s okay the real watchers will catch up as the show airs and the rating will slowly increase.

Plot-wise it’s completely different. Any show/ movie with fighting and racing will look the same ( surface level )

Same. Dunno why they had to take an ep out just a few days before airing. If it was to be done then at least do it months prior so the editing team could blend out some parts more and make it more cohesive.

Based on images taken by fans during filming the wardrobes and styling before was mature. She gave off a rich serious ceo vibe. The most recent pics… she has two ponytails, short skirt and a lil backpack. I feel like iqiyi’s team thinks her cutesy acting sells ( because her most recent work). I pray to god they stick closely to the book cuz it’s too good and that mature independent fl is what yushuxin wanted. That’s what she signed up for…

They need to cancel this freaking show if they can’t respect the author and novel. I don’t understand all the changes… like why?

Love the cinematography. I’ve always enjoyed Ming ziyi’s acting. Ml is super handsome but needs a bit of improvement. Wish he was able to express more emotions besides slightly scrunching his eyebrows.

Originally there was a hardworking crew that worked on various scenes for months before the actors even signed on. Once the actors came aboard iqiyi dismissed the entire crew, scrapped their works, didn’t even pay them and placed a brand new crew. Imagine signing the contract because you loved the script and the crew only for everything to change under your nose with no prior discussion. A mess. Now there’s probably nothing actors could do cuz they’re bound to a contract.

Wow I feel so bad for the yushuxin and he yu. They got bamboozled real good by iqiyi.

Not bad… not bad at all honestly. They wrapped up everything quite cleverly. Just wish there was an extra episode or something like fof, that would have made me reallyyyy really happy.

There might be a few scenes where she could have done better but to completely say she’s expressionless is bit of a reach. If she was so expressionless her character wouldn’t have a number of memes go viral and in general people wouldn’t have enjoyed and adore her character. If u don’t like the drama move on to a new one.
