Agreed I like the toxic/messy portrayal of korn and tonkla's relationship....we mainly like it because it is portrayed…
I think they will romanticise that relationship later on as it’s clear Tonkla still and will always love Korn but I’m ok with that because it’s a portrayal that already has so much nuance. It’s bound to get messier but as long as they keep the quality of writing, it should be a good watch.
So far, I’d say this is how you do toxic/messy relationships. Really enjoying the intricate storytelling. This is what I wanted Absolute Zero and Only Friends to be.
I absolutely love articles like this. Great topic and an entertaining read. Typically I don’t watch dramas rated lower than a 7 unless they are super short or the description grabs me. I find that the dramas rated between 7.0 and 7.9 deserve a chance as usually the reason they are rated so low is arbitrary or something that is not a deal breaker for me.
What the Duck S2 is the only one I’ve seen on your list and I concur with your review. It was truly terrible. 😅
I might check out Princess Princess D (as I’ve seen Cool Boys Only High and liked it), Boys and Bro and Me.
I liked the structure of this a lot and that they didn’t try to fit it into the typical 40 episode length. Once the story was finished, they finished. Now, if only we can combine this type of structured storytelling with strong performances and engaging plot.
Mostly disagree with the whole article. Long time K drama lover here. I started watching them in 2005 when the…
The fan subs of old sometimes makes a drama for me. I’m still discovering past dramas and whenever I see the fan subs, they always put a smile on my face. They’re informative, funny and feels like they’re watching the drama along with you.
I read it too, so I stopped at Ep 8 so I could just ride the rollercoaster one loop around. Catching up for the…
This is such a good idea. I might do the same. I had already re-watched episodes 1&2 because I love those episodes so much. I’ll join you in riding the rollercoaster one loop around. 😅
Pls tell me the suspense is killing me I don't dare to watch today's episode.
I haven’t seen this week’s episode so I don’t know what has been revealed so far but in the novel Huaien gets the flower for Xiaobao and is saved from an ambush from SY by the doc. Both Huaien and SY use their energy to keep Xiaobao temp up while he’s being healed. H and X make love before he leaves to get Xiaoyu. As H is escaping with Xiaoyu he is chased down by his father’s men and gravely wounded. SY meets them on the way. Takes Xiaoyu and leaves H to die telling him X wants nothing to do with him. Eventually X comes with the doc to save H. Some more nc scenes and it ends with H and X together, traveling and living together and having adventures.

Also, YouTube edits pique my interests about dramas.
