This was my second k-drama that I watched over a decade ago. This and The Suspicious Housekeeper is what got me into k-dramas. I’m shocked to see they have such low ratings on MDL. These scores do not do these dramas justice.
it has become a tradition for me , coming back to rewatch this masterpiece.if you also keep in mind that it was…
Funnily enough this was the very first kdrama that I ever watched that got me into kdramas. It set the bar so high. I’m surprised seeing the MDL scores for these earlier dramas that set the standard for kdramas. I don’t understand if MDL scores are sabotaged or the result of fan wars or hate/smear campaigns but there are so many stellar shows that have such low ratings and can get easily passed over if people don’t decide to see for themselves.
I think I will buy the book because I was intrigued by this story and held out a lot of hope for it in the beginning. I ended up dropping this series but this kind of heavy, beautiful, romantic story is my cup of tea. I just don’t think they executed it well with this adaptation. They had the right ingredients but somehow mixed it all wrong. Yes, I understood the premise and what they were trying to achieve. I just don’t think they achieved it. It seems the later episodes (episode 10 and 11) are worth watching so I might come back to finish this series sometime in the distant future. For now, I’ll desperately search for the source material.
Wow! This was good all the way until the end. I just wish that the sister and her nasty attitude would have paid…
She’ll be paying all right. The in-laws hate her now that she’s ruined their son’s chances of marrying someone with money. She’s about to face living in a house that no one likes her like the FL had to. I also wouldn’t put it past the MIL to try and poison her.
Can someone tell me because I might have missed it, I thought somebody mentioned there was a scene where you raw…
Even if that scene doesn’t exist, we know that’s how it’s gonna be because none of them want her now that she’s no longer useful and has ruined their chances of having their son marry someone with money. It’s great karma because they’re stuck with her and she’s stuck with them and they’re all gonna be miserable hating that they’re stuck with each other. *bwahaha* 😂😂😂
Hey Guys! I am planning to watch this drama ,Can anyone tell me how's the drama so far ,Is it good ,is it worth…
It’s worth watching but remember most K-dramas have cliches and some frustrating aspects but overall I would say this was a very satisfying watch with a very satisfying conclusion.
I just read that Park Eun Bin provided the vocals for her younger version singing Dream Us as well. Man, she’s crazy talented. This whole time I was looking for the younger actress’s version thinking she was the one who sang it. Mind blown.
Okay. I'm happy with the ending!🥰 This is one of the best kdramas for me. Love it!! ❤️Felt guilty about…
The conclusion for Lee Seo Joon is the only part of the drama I was not thrilled with. They did what I was dreading and that is try to make him a good guy at the end. I say ‘try’ because after everything he has done, it would take moving mountains to redeem him. If anything, his ending was a small slap in the face to everything Ran-joo went through. The writers making it seem like he made the right calls and is fit to be president is like telling an abuser they were right for everything they put their victim through. Aside from that, 10/10 episode and a wonderful, heartfelt series. 🤗
More than anything else in this drama; the transition from the town hall to the stadium concert, then cutting to Ki-ho in the production box made me cry such happy tears. My heart soared.
I’m really enjoying the show. I know there are some who don’t like how much it’s focused on the family and…
How I see it is that the story of Mok-ha, Ki-ho and Ran-Joo are intertwined. I’ve been watching this as THEIR story and think the writers have done a really good job in telling their story.
Well said.
