Well, I actually loved the fact that none of them looked like love struck puppies. So, to me, given the story line and interaction they had it was just right. To me, that level of emotion :

here would look completely out of place and make it a completely different story. Which would need to be judged by different criteria and I'm not sure it would be a story that I would like to see. "Great chemistry" is subjective, so maybe it's just not your idea of what it's supposed to be.

I'm with you up until the last point-e30. It just had to happen. Like he is a latent deadbeat by nature no ambition etc., FL tried for ages to get him to move his arse and failing. Even though he is nominated as crown prince he is still acting like a little girl. So something like this just had to happen. Shocking part was that it didn't work. It was only after FL's "death" that he was able to get over his childhood traumas/limitations and finally grow up. Though I'm glad that "ear" guy got through it alive. Writers could've decided to remove everyone connected to that periphery place.

Fair. Yes repetitiveness is prominent if binging. Full rewatch is difficult alright but there are plenty of scenes which age well.

I thought the meat they got initially was ribs. The top part would have meat and and a lot of fat. So you'd strip the top meaty part for one dish and use bones for another. But checking back yeah there were no bones there...live and learn. sugar cubes... F.me. 🙄

One would boil bones for awhile with garlic herbs etc . It would look like soup. Then it be kept overnight in the fridge. When it's ready it would look like jelly.

Well now that I think about it.it's a pretty dumb expression to use in this context. Coz saltiness is associated with sucking a dick. So it would imply that whoever says "salty" is the one who feels the salt... and is the one who sucked it. This expression is just weird - not going to pick it up.

They're supposed to be like generals in civil war would be completely unexpected if some of those good characters didn't die. I mean it's pretty much a given. Grossness factor missed by me completely. I imagine it's lower than in SOKP by quite a bit.
