I'm not sure where your expectations come from but here gods are not omni potent/present. Our god in particular is a bit of a burnout as well.
He's got his own tasks to do, so he is not obliged to join every battle in lower realms or come to think of it, even to bother with them most of the time. so, when he's joining in with lower realms it's not because he has to, but out of goodness of his heart/Shen Li/boredom and a few other things.
Shen Li will be doing most of the fighting, and although there will be a few moments where she is damsel in distress him helping her will be done in completely different fashion.

Word "trauma" appears quite often in context of PA. And "therapy" in context of TSOL. I'dthink about it.

Impression I got is during those "missions" they are trying their best to grow apart but end up together anyway. Not sure if they could be called missions either,but they have to spend sometime together somehow 🤔
There are very intense emotional moments but there's always a dash of humour to give one a break.

It would be helpful if they'd show some stats about the user making a post. Like some stat point to indicate how closely he/she aligned. So if someone is expecting PA story because of actors but alignment to xianxia is 0. I could avoid the bother open it.
Another thing like reputation counter how many +/- upvotes his reviews and comments get in other places. Maybe if they are 12 and they managed to watch every show on earth they'd get a clown icon there.

I think it should go further than that. With questionnaire and character checklist for each episode. Like if someone is convinced that a show is about a talking chicken they could be on episode 39 and still wondering why that chicken is not getting the screen time it clearly deserved.
To me a review implies that it contains objective criticism or assessment. So if I open something and it's posit upon posit and ends with a suggestion to watch a show about cats. I get annoyed alright.

Anyway, I think barrier for entry to post in that section is too low.

Same. Also,I made peace with flashbacks heavy episodes too. They just flashed by maybe because it weren't split across 1ep per day
