Yeah, when I took a pause I figured that it could be the case purely because she would've had a fit when she woke up and saw a strange man sleeping near her bed. But I had my doubts.

Good ending and a good show overall.

It is very rare for me to "buy" scenes like this too. Here it was well done. Even in Princess Agents that Liz mentioned. When ZLY was addressing her troops I was squinting a lot. That gravitas really comes with experience. Probably director & scriptwriter need to do more work to help level some cognitive dissonance as well.

I have a feeling that this part is why I watched PA in the first place. Brilliant.

she only needs to say that it's a problem. problem can happen by itself, say the food-taster could be allergic and collapses choking. everyone goes "oh no, someone chef attempted to kill the king" our super-chef whips out an epipen out of her handbag injects the mommy and suddenly she is not only super-chef but also a super-doctor.

Lol, so many possibilities of how she could be accused of poisoning someone.
