Ah, I watch so many BLs, I can't keep track of everything, but if I'm unsure or do not understand the story, I binge-watch it again. Otherwise my reviews would not do justice to the series. I don't want that. So better watch again not missing some important points :) And why find my own words, when they already said it themselves? :)))

That's why I binge-watched that series today again :)
If you watch week by week, you will forget a lot of things.
This series is really made to binge-watch and it did get me again... So my feelings during watching were confirmed. Next week we get the other couple, maybe that's more "standard" BL :)

No, they don't, because the fanmeets are sold out, and a medicore show is enough to sell them :)

I don't think they use speadsheets, except for filming schedules. It may be they cut too much from the novel (because only 10 episodes), it may be they also put something from another series in, just because, it was hectic that day and they were stressed out.
If they would have reversed the death, just Pheem dying, the rest in jail and Chet and his bodyguard united 20 years later or so, it would have been even more fun :)

I don't know if I would call that "artistic vision". 🤔 Watching this I missed artistic vision, lighting, fighting, gun-shooting... at least the last one made me laugh hard especially because there were not enough bullets and the camera was all over the place. 🤣

On the point of blunt: That's my culture, we say what we mean, we do not sugarcoat it. I never said that the actors did not do hard work... we even know filming schedules are insane, often passing 12hours per day... That was never a point. I even mention that I'm sad for the actors needing to take such crap scripts, because they don't have a real choice. There are contractional obligations.

On the point of mean: I even point out the positive things, when there are some. If I would only be mean I would never mention that.

My only opinion is, that such soap opera styled shows are not to my taste. The rest are facts and pointing out logic holes of astory is also a fact not an opinion. 🤣

You post 4x without anything regarding the review itself, just YOUR assumption.

And it's a personal attack to write: "Please stop being biased and unfair in your reviews" - I'm neither biased against countries or people and what I'm most definitively I'm not is unfair. If I would be unfair such shows should have a 1.0 rating - but it does not.

Next time you post, post about the review itself. Don't assume, don't attack. And of course you did not answer if you read my positive reviews which makes it quite obvious that you don't care about the big picture, you just care about a little bubble which does not align with yours and that infuriates you.

I did not mention the product placements in the review since "Love Mix-Up" and "Cherry Magic (Thai)" which I did not like either. They have dialed that back. I mean endorsement deals outside of series.

I will not stop watching them, because even GMMTV has sometimes a gem in them... like "Boys in Love" which was very well made. But you did ignore that of course because it's outside of the construct you build for me.

You don't need to run such a company, there are enough able people to hire to do so.
And even if he declined (which we did not see), Than is known and Pheems pictures are all over the internet. A simple name-change would not have helped.

In your little bubble it contradicts it, but for some people it's helpful, because they don't have the time to watch everything. They read the reviews and select what they can watch. There are even a lot of girls agreeing with me, because they don't watch for the ship, they watch for the story. If a story is bad, it's a waste of time and this series was a waste of time especially compared to the trailer we got in - was it 2022? - we did expect something substantial and we didn't get it.

And like you, most "fangirls" don't care about the story as long their ship is hugging, kissing (which is not done well enough here) and f*cking... If you don't see the shortcomings of the stories, then I can't help you. If you are just happy seeing them, that's ok, but a cute ship does not make a good story. Trailers are often made before the whole script is finished :)
So they have an rough idea what it's about (of course, because most are taken from novels or mangas/manwhas/webtoons) and what they want to do, but the details are not worked out yet.

It was a comedy... so I could not take this sort of violence serious. Besides the fight scenes were all so laughable... when you watch "Weak Hero Class" for example you can say it's so violent, but of course there is a reason for it. And yes, the story makes sense too :)

Because they rush production and it's "good enough" for most of the fangirls. Don't forget the series are payed for when they air, but the big money is made with fanmeets, concerts and endorsement deals.
