Yes a clear vision of the show was missing, they tried to do both (folklore & BL) but failed :)
they could if they did not leave out the intro animation and compacted the rest more :) I think it's possible but it takes more time I guess

I'm not into sexualized manga, that's not for me :) I prefer the downtuned japanese adaptations. 🤣

I guess it's because of time contraints with only 8 episodes a 22 minutes... but of course the bar workers have nothing to do with it, maybe for more dramatic effect :) I guess, I have to read it after the series aired :)

Nope a 5.5 is average and 5.0 is medicore 🤣
And I have seen the movie, so I had more of a clue and the last two episodes were much better in my book...

Because they had additional shots after filming, with the fail of the rocket and so, I guess they could have done that, because the 20 minutes extra or so would be not to much to ask for :)
