I guess it's because of time contraints with only 8 episodes a 22 minutes... but of course the bar workers have nothing to do with it, maybe for more dramatic effect :) I guess, I have to read it after the series aired :) And thank you!
I agree with your review, but for me Iād rate it a 4. A 5 is average, and this show felt below average to me.
Nope a 5.5 is average and 5.0 is medicore 𤣠And I have seen the movie, so I had more of a clue and the last two episodes were much better in my book...
As I already said I would have prefered to have them split up and end it there. And then have a special episode…
Because they had additional shots after filming, with the fail of the rocket and so, I guess they could have done that, because the 20 minutes extra or so would be not to much to ask for :)
I generally agree with you, but regarding the finale, I think it was good and splitting them up in a special episode…
As I already said I would have prefered to have them split up and end it there. And then have a special episode where we see them marrying and talking about kids and how they selected them... so, more context imho. It felt like they tucked that on. Even when the novel has the same ending, I would like it seperated a bit from the series. I haven't read the novel, so I don't know if there is more context.
Thank you very much!I think it would have been different if it would have been a Wabi Sabi production.
Yes I know... It's like why "Supernatural" could exist for 327 episodes :) I understand that. But my argument is more that if the runtime would be shorter they could produce more constistent results. And they don't do it well, because they rush the productions. Especially GMMTV which has to produce twice the shows compared to the early 2020 and now they also include a ton of GLs. It's like capitalism: It can't work, because infinite growth is impossible.
family time and so on:I would have prefered they say goodbye and go back and end it there. And then after a month,…
nono, the cutting issue was between the couples and then random cuts in the festival... they did not make much sense for me... and yes, they for sure had only one rocket - but - normally they film with 2 or 3 cameras at once, so this had to be a second team or an afterthought which required filming after the normal shoot was done. I could imagine after the initial success they thought they would stretch out the finale.
Somewhat to my surprise, because I kept saying "isn't this episode over yet?" while watching, I wish to…
family time and so on: I would have prefered they say goodbye and go back and end it there. And then after a month, we get a special episode, when we the viewers have processed all the emotional turmoil. We come back and see them happy ever after :) And yes, that's my preference, because the show would have ended in happyness anyways. So they could have shown the marriage, they could have shown the talk about kids, the process to adopt this two and so on.
Yeah, the rocket... don't know... there were also lot's of eratic cuts in this part of the show. Maybe the editor was sick or this was filmed after the "normal" end, as you have read, they did film in the beginning of october... So maybe a different crew for this part.
Thank you very much!I think it would have been different if it would have been a Wabi Sabi production.
Yes, .jp/.kr are shorter, but that does not mean longer is better. They mostly also have no side-couples. They are not essential to tell a good story. They are so in the tunnel with their system, that I don't see them to change. Why can they not do a 30min series with 8 episodes? If it's good, we would all rejoice.
"Happy of the End" had 8 :) But, also the manga was extremly short :) "Let Free the Curse of Taekwondo" with it's dark, gloomy background also had 8 episodes with ~33mins runtime. Credits are not a problem for them because they show them while the last scenes are running and intros tend to be much shorter also :)
And do you really care about the runtime? If they had only 45 minutes, they would not need cut versions, which is the silliest thing ever because the cut versions change the stories to be even worse.
Thank you very much!I think it would have been different if it would have been a Wabi Sabi production.
Then why can the japanese or korean do dark stories even when they are based on non-fiction? (Yakuza, Child Sex Slaves, physical parental abuse and so on) It's not so, that Wabi Sabi can't do good stories, they can, but if it's payed by GMMTV they order the "safe", fluffy stuff.
And thank you!
You have already an condemned criminial as president :)
