they don't have the budget first, then they don't have the time it needs.... Compare to School Trip where an japanese production had a thai typical workshop! And it shows... they had real chemistry...
The fault is with Shoma... I think Takuto has the talent but is hampered by Shoma and of course of the production team in general... While I like shorter - see Love Sea (JP) adaption - when done right, this is not it :)

agree. I did watch the finale also a second time to understand what the director had in mind because there is always pressure from GMMTV to have a happy end. She decided to make the end not a fluffy happily ever after. It's a compromise to stay true to the story with an open end, because we don't know if they will work out and if they can overcome all the baggage they are carrying with them. There is a also a lot of subtle symbolizm through out the show. And the acting was impecable.

You should watch their first series "Not Me" - from the same director...

I bitch not about the adaption, I bitch about the execution and production. It does not have the budget of the thai version, it feels steril, Shoma can't act. The japanese adaption of "Love Sea" was much better compared to the original... so it depends :)

Because it's the same production team/director... there is not a chance it will get better... besides being underfunded.

Yes he does not say a word - which is stupid to begin with... Why would you not tell? It does not make sense if you are really in a relationsship. But this was a year ago and I have not much of a recollection. I forget fast when a series does not leave an impact on me :)

It's an dumb tropé to forgive easily... "Reloved" did this... and I was furious... 10 years ago one of them did misunderstand something and left the partner, after 10 years they both discover it was a misunderstanding and all he said "well, good we solved it, it was just a misunderstand" - and I went ballistic 🤣

I do not really remember ... maybe I have to rewatch - but - even if you can't debut together, is that a reason to end a relationsship? Yes, it's hard, but no reason to break up imho.

I mention it, because it had not much story impact, because the "bitches" in the show overshadowed everything... but you like the overdriven overacting style, I like good stories. And this was not a good story... it was interesting in the beginning and falling off a cliff besides being boring most of the time.

I write what I notice and you can agree with it or not, but it's quite a fruitless discussion because you misunderstood.

I'm offended because the historical background has not a great influence on the story and nobody said anything against it. You can watch "Shine (Orchestral Version)" and see the difference, when historical background matters. So you tell me something which does not matter and which you misunderstood from the beginning.
