The French speaking shattered the illusion for you? Try being a historian watching a series set in 1915, yet spotting…
I'm not a car guy but it looked to modern :) I guess in 1915 you would start the car by hand... but the car is not that often in the scenes, but the speaking was a part of the story :)
Never knew about the electrification :)))

But Paris did not have a gay ban, because the "sodomy" law was abolished with the french revolution in 1791, They had a dicriminating law in 1960 which was abolished 1980. So gay life in 1915 in Paris was quite fine.

Mostly, "Boys in Love" was nice at least for me :)
Hmmm... I do not really care if it's there last or not... They mostly play always the same characters anyways...

We are in agreement. Thus series was bland. The lead couple's characters were so boring and hopeless. Poorly written…

I lost interest this after episode 8. I thought the story was creepy. Gross 70 hetro with 20 something gay man.…
You should ask the woman who made the original :)
It's a 5, because if you remove all that stuff, it's ok.

I liked the way you articulated your thought in this review. I personally dropped this after 1 episode because,…
Age did not come into my mind... But a hetero who gets fancied by a gay and then turning gay is just too much... the 5 was because their acting was not bad and overall production was also not bad... so it's overall medicore :)

I only watched episode 1. It was bad enough for me to drop the series. Thanks for the review, because I don't…
Nah, you missed nothing essential.

I don't really like director New (Perfect10liners, Fourever You, we are).
Again, I don't agree with the premise that two of his shows were that stellar. And "New" can, when he has the creative freedom to do so and I feel that he does not have that, when he does shows for GMMTV, which mostly does shows which are safe and cater to the fangirls. There are only few exceptions when GMMTV does risk something.

LoL, the rating on MDL does not reflect the quality of a series. When they fanarmies storm MDL they are mostly overrated, but in this case I felt the show is underrated.

The question was why "New" is not a good director. And I say he is a good director but only in the scope of what GMMTV wants him to do. That has no influence of Aof who does his own stuff with his own shows and is staff on GMMTV. I would argue, that Last Twilight was not as good, Bad Buddy could have been better and I think only Moonlight Chicken was a very good series, but again, that does have nothing to do with "New".

Ha? That Aof is senior director of content of GMMTV. Do you mix it up with the Aof of Domundi? That's two different persons.
I just said that a production company is doing what the company which hired them is asking for.

First of all, most people liked them. If you do don't like them, that's your problem, but most viewers did.
Second Wabi Sabi is a production company and GMMTV is a distrubtion company. GMMTV has their own production company but they can't produce alll the shows themselves. They will always let other companies produce some stuff for them.

It's still a Wabi Sabi production even when it's payed for by GMMTV.And I don't think it's a bad choice, the problem…
then the question is, why you commented...

yeah I don't understand why it happened so fast. Other than that I really like the series
Because they have a bound... that much seems obvious... what that is will be explained (hopefully) in the next episodes.

I like the director who also did "Until We Meet Again", "Between Us" and "Absolute Zero"... Perfect 10 Liners and all the other shows were payed by GMMTV with the influence of GMMTV. "New" is excactly doing what GMMTV wants him to do.

What’s even crazier is there is evidence of GMM having good fight choreography. A great example is high school…
Jack & Joker was not good at all, especially the special episode was lame ².
Compared to Korea it's a 0 out of 10.
