I think people can ship anyone as long as it's respectful, but these statements from the director are pure queerbating,…
It should not matter to you, because you will miss some gems if you just go for genres or tags... Besides MDL tags are whacky at best...
MDL says "Bromance" - it's not even that, especially not in Season 2 regardless what happened in Season 1. MDL says "Thriller" - it's not a Thriller at all or what I understand a Thriller should be.
So I don't give a rats ass, what the genre/tags are.
I've been waiting a long time and to be honest, this is not what I wanted! In fact, the second season just repeats…
1, It's not about what you want :) 2. It's not a repeat because the dynamic is completly different. 3. He can't fight more cooly, because he is "broken". 4. It's brutal enough, especially the final episode. 5. The fight scenes were still very good, but the vibe is different (for a reason).
EVERYTHING YOU SAID IS SPOT ON. Friendships between boys in are often misinterpreted as romantic the moment they…
And who told you they are straight? Was there not an idol who outet himself at a concert just some days ago? And who carez if they are straight, bi, gay or anything inbetween. What does it to you? And why do you care? They are not in your life, so don't assume anything about people you don't know and don't care who they fuck. It's not our business. You can like them, you can admire them, but that's all you can do.
"Can we please normalize strong emotional bonds between boys without forcing it into a romance narrative?"Media…
"But assume the fans referring to the drama as BL" - who gives a rats ass about that? Who carez about labeling? Why do you feel the need to label everything and why is labeling needed?
It's just a good story with "nice" fighting scenes.
"Can we please normalize strong emotional bonds between boys without forcing it into a romance narrative?"Media…
First of all. Why gets the story diluted? It does not change the story. Love is love regardless of gender identity/sexual preference and it does not matter if it's platonic or not. This changes NOTHING!
I just want to express somethingggg. Some fans seem to be misunderstanding the nature of the main characters’…
What does it matter if they love each other in a sexual way? NOTHING. The story is still great regardless of what their relationsship "really" is.
Can we just ignore the labeling of emotional bonds? And what does it matter to you? And happily it's not a BL, because BLs are made for GIRLS/WOMEN not for the LBGTQI+ community... except "Love in the Big City" which also is NOT a BL.
I think people can ship anyone as long as it's respectful, but these statements from the director are pure queerbating,…
you are not sensitive enough to pick up the romance. And BLs are not made for the LBGTQI+ community, they are made for fangirls with some exceptions like "Love in the Big City" which is not a BL.
Disagree. Lots of people think it was a joke. There was no romance on the screen. We can have our own opinion.…
If you see how the act togehter, it was never a joke. There was lot's of romance in Season 1. In Season 2 he behaves like he lost his love. It's not so hard to understand. And why does someone from a progressive country has such views? It does not matter which genre a series is to have love in it and regardless of gender identity and sexual preference.
I don't get it :D
Of course I can see the romance between them in their eyes.
But that's just me....
And I know it get's much deeper, but I need to tease you a bit ;)
Including telling people they force something...

I could not care less.
Just watching how they look at each other tells me everything I need to know.
