The One Enterprise (mother of GMM Holdings which owns GMMTV) had only 6.227 billion THB turnover (in 2022) and 6,515 billion THB in 2023 (net profit 758million in 2022, 507million in 2023)... which is nothing comparatively... idol marketing makes 1/3 of their turnover. Content Business is ~64%. I guess the profit comes from idol-marketing - I guess they get a commission from their artist when they get an ad-deal... From the view of the net profit, this company is in trouble :) I just wonder why the gross profit is 2.6billion but the net profit is only 507million :)

Most good shows were not done by GMMTV but by outside studios... I guess :) ThamePo is a two-edged sword... I'm sure GMMTV and Riser Music (a subsidary of GMMTV) state in their contracts hat ships and idols can't date... So I can't take them serious. Budget... A foil is easy, cheap and fast. To paint it on costs a lot of time. When you know that they have 16 hours filming days, you know why not, that would have extended their fliming for days which costs money.... and it's all about optimizing profits!
