It has nothing to do with machines, it has something to do with logical thinking... you can argue what you want but 5 is the not good, not bad rating. I don't argue about up or downrate for things you like/don't like, I argue, that your lowest of good is too high. Even a bad script can be entertaining... depending on other factors... Everyone who votes all 10 without reason is dumb too, same with only 1. That's not fair to the show. It's also dumb to upvote because you are a fan. And it's also wrong to hate on the actors only because the show is bad. You should think more about that, because of the overrating we get so many crappy shows which could be so much better.

5 is average - neither good or bad. It can have flaws, but can also have redeeming characteristics (bad story, stellar cimematography) If a series/movie does not work - it's below a 5. So, your rating makes no sense, that's why so many shows are overrated due to stupid use of a mathematical linear rating system. There is no series/movie which is flawless. If the production quality is bad, I demoted automatically regardless if it's indie or not. Bad cinematography or bad editing or bad sound is always a downer for any show/movie. I understand if you uprate for exceptional acting.
How can something which does not work for you be a 7.5? That makes no sense when you have a range from 1 to 10. If it does not work for you it should be below 5 because the 5 is "average"
why are you watching it if it's bad? Just don't watch, it's as simple as that
Because I watch everything to the end. Otherwise to rate it would be unfair. It could have been better later... there is always a flicker of hope, it may turn around. And it's not, that I'm hating on the persons or run to twitter to 🤮 on them. That's not what I do. It's just a review for people not have watched yet. You can believe me or not.

The editing was not that bad... but the sound-design was because it drowns the actors with the background music.
