Why are these people hung up on sad endings? They accuse happy endings of "pandering" to fangirls, don't they see…
All four of them? nah. All four are traumatized, so all four should have therapy first. And they could have done a "time jump" 3 years later and then Daon & Co-Worker meet again, that would have made more sesnse imho... If you are not mentally healthy a relationsship will not work imho.

Tragedy for the sake of tragedy is also clichéd and overused -> yes, especially in thai shows. With sterotype bad guys/gals or the evil mother and so on... because the story was tragedy does not mean it was overused in this case. It was the concept of the show to have tragedy for all characters, but Daon is naivé in a bad way and mr. office-worker also did nothing to have a useful conversation -> again a sterotype. You can't have a releationship when one refuses to listen - which is common in BLs and infuriating.
There are not plenty of QLs... there are plenty of BLs... again, just your opinion.
"Happy gay stories..." is just your point of view. If the story is good, I don't care if it's happy or sad. I said in the context of the content we have watched, a sad ending would make more sense. Can you understand my meaning? You are still projecting your opinion ignoring mine. If you can not open up to a discussion and you just want to be right all the time, don't write at all!
The gender and sexuality of the creator and intended audience don't define the quality of the content -> yes, especially if it's not just business, but mostly it's just business. so most don't really care about the quality of the content in an objective way, they just want to make money. And BL is mostly business.
Woman are breaking barriers? yes, as directors mostly. Not so much in the writing department. At least in the context of BL...

You should not project your opinion on people. Nobody is hang up on bad endings, it does make sense with such a story line. And if you want to watch fluffy stuff without activating your brain, there are lot's of shows to choose from... Besides the finale was the weakest episode of all with a cliché ending.
You do know that BLs are catering to girls/woman not to the gay (male) community... BLs are mostly written/created by woman for women... There are not that many QLs around, at least some production try at least to mix QL and BL or in other words they mix reality with the fantasy. Does "Love in the Big City" have a happy end? I would say no, but that was ok, but it was also written by a gay man not by a woman.
When the story is good who carez if it's a happy or sad end? "Spare Me Your Mercy" has a good story and an ending - is it good or bad - at least it needed an active brain and was different from any other show.
Get GMMTV shows worse every time (except ThamePo which was decent)... The fight was soooooooooooo lame... there is no chemistry between the two... so most is just boring....
It seems like a fight about "property"... Suhyeon & Shin did have a crush on Doan - but because they are friends…
Because a sick woman did the manwha...
Why the game - because it's a contract :) And a contract is a contract is a contract. Both did not let Daon choose, because it's about "property" it seems. Both are emotional compromised in one way or the other. We don't have the background of Seong Hyeon - so we don't know why he acts the way he does. I guess that's something for ep 7.

First you are not. Second Jaemin proposed that in a flashback we see in ep 3 (not sure if it's ep 3), but he wanted not to loose. As I said, it's like to have property. If both don't have it, both don't loose. But the fake relationsship with the abuse in the flashbacks was also calculated to send Suhyeon abroad and out of Daons mind. The later succeeded, but due to unknown reasons Jaemin has this code that a contract is a contract. So the feeling that this is about "property" and not love. Yes he want's to be closer to Daon but he does not want to break the contract and so he did not go for the "kill" - he could have had Daon for years now. That's what we see in the first episode when he refuses Daon.
Both need therapy for sure. But a bread knife was not a good choice imho, because bread knifes are not sharp at all...
Please correct me if I'm wrong... From what I understood from both the webtoon and the drama is that: Daon has…
It seems like a fight about "property"... Suhyeon & Shin did have a crush on Doan - but because they are friends Shin developed the game so HE could stay close to Doan and "protect" him... that is the gist of the 6 episodes I saw.

Closure does not mean a happy end.

The CGI is soooo bad, it's almost funny...
