Too realistic. Again... because of "Happy of the End", "Love in the Big City" and "Let Free of the Curse of Taekwando" where the first is too dark for a BL, the second is a gay drama and the thrid is also more a gay drama than a BL. Imho.
It's not a BL, it's a gay drama ... very big difference imho.
disagree... 1.happens in real life. 2.direction is not a reason as well 3.does not feel like a replacement 4.happens also in real life 5.also happens in real life, besides it was not in the bitchiest way possible and was resolved fast

That point has nothing to do with the discussion. And "Queer as Folk" from Channel 4 in UK released the first gay drama in 1999 before BL was a word in the western world. The same series got an remake for the US a year later but with an extended story (83 Episdes in 5 seasons). And they were created by men. Just saying.

The discussion is not about the genre of the "normal" romances. It's a discussion what the difference between a BL and gay drama is. BLs are unrealistic, a fantasy for fangirls. It does not mean they are bad, they are just different.

BL = fantasy written by women for women gay drama = realistic written from anyone for everyone I see no fantasy-like story elements in this amazing series. "Love in the Big City" is also not a BL, it's also a gay drama written (omg!) by a gay man... Of course there are nowadays shows which are a blend of BL and gay drama but this is not one of them.
Ok, it's either going to be super cringe drama or a heartbreaking one.But a Thai bl actually never made me cry. The…
Hmmm... there are some tearjerkers from Thailand... 180 Degrees Longitude Passes Through Us, Absolute Zero, My Only 12%, I Told Sunset About You, I Promised You the Moon, Theoray of Love....
someone speaking what I think :) To shoot 4 characters to create 4 views of them in the 4 minutes was a bit much. And it had to be only their views and nothing added... Why do we scenes inbetween where none of the characters were involved. I do not get it :)
BL of the year? Never ever... Even when I don't consider "Love in the Big City" a BL, it's way way better and not in the least confusing as f*ck. To have to shoot 4 characters to create "4 Minutes" for each of them was a bit much.
?SYNtAX ERROR a computer would say.
For me it's a gay drama and has nothing to do with a typical BL.
