Stopped watch at ep 8. I was getting bored, I didn't hate this series, but I wasn't lovin' in. Supernatural plot…
The CGI in "The Sign" was bad. To sell tickets with absurd prices to watch the finale before airing was bad. An only Cop series would have satisfied me much better and they could have eloborated that part of the story much more.
Say your spoiled and don't know how to appreciate something that's simple and fluffy and cute for what it is without…
Because the story is soooooo bad. Fluffy and spicy does not make a good series. The story IS simply crap with lazy writings with one-dimensional bad chars and a fantasy part which was unneeded. That an "office worker" books for his first date the most expensive location imageable while saying he wanted to meet someone he who does not take advantage of him because he is rich, was the stupidest thing the writers could have done. And the other boy is rich too... omg how stereotypical could it be?
And I disagree with you, it was below average. Production quality, cinematography, locations, costumes etc. were top notch, but it does not help when the story is plain, full of clichés, boring and sometimes just stupid. Every 2024 JBL is better than this even when they are not perfect either.
It's your opinion that he was very unlikeable... I find it's the opposite... He is naiv and inexperienced, which can happen if you grow up in a rural area and not in a big city. But he is kind and he is curious to learn. After a year in Tokiy he is not that naiv anymore and knows what he wants...
Boring is something else imho. Don't take it seriously it was not meant as insult, it was just a childish comment :)
In a stressful world slowpaced shows are a gem which should be appreciated imho. While it's slow it's not boring, compared to for example "We are" - that was slow and boring because they could tell the story in half as much episodes. 🤣

friendship vibes with "i want to stay with you forever"... sorry. it was 100% obvious. as is typical with mass market BLs there is not a lot going on with kissing and touching... It's not "My Personal Weatherman" where they go the reverse way.
And he did promise his grandpa to go hiking with him even before Taishin came into the picture, of course he had to go. It's his only relevant family he has left.
