geez this coming out during pride month is the biggest win of the homophobes lol it's so insane like they wanna rub it in;; like the straight-wash is already not good but they had to cast a r@pist alongside it.. how shameless can the production team of this series go?
i like little bits of fluff not outright angst within the first few episodes, for those that love angst then this is for you. also, all the characters kinda piss me off, han joon is too considerate and yoo jae is too toxic also jin hwan that guy's words contradict his actions, quite a burden as well to han joon with his crush. too much miscommunication or no communication at all lol and unnecessary fights/argument like the relationship that they'll eventually have is most likely not going to last. the actors delivered tho
BL?? Bromance?? Just Friends?? idk like i was confused watching a reel edit of this
its bl since minato did say he like 'someone(yori)' to the teacher which is his secret, including the moment they hugged when yori was injured and they felt something lol
but idk cuz its weird romanticizing kids;; but im not gonna say what it is, not like the person up there.
both of them were so cute during the first few episodes, but until the last episodes, left me so frustrated and was rooting for them to not be together lol night's actions were so immature and such a red flag.. i actually ship dream with day more lol. night realized what love is after getting dumped, given the ending, he didn't change, he waited for dream cause he still lacks self-confidence when he could've searched for him and pursued him to show his growth after already experiencing dream being gone before.. i dont think he knows what love actually is yet. it WAS nice.. just felt rushed, the plot could've been more in so many ways.. such a bummer also no closure on the side characters, what is the current relationship of night with his family, did namwan finally find someone else and where the hell is the place where day works at? he was mostly at the cafe lol
This one might be the highest-rated Japanese movie here on MDL, but for me, it didn't satisfy me. Maybe artistic…
true, i also need answers but I think they did it on purpose.
they are kids, especially still learning about homosexuality, easily-influenced by their surroundings yk the complexity of it, if they are confused, they do their best to get out of trouble and will not think of the consequences or how huge the things they've done. it would be nice to see them take responsibility but not everyone actually say sorry for what they did when they were kids right? but damn, thats a huge bullet to the teacher, especially living on japan where reputation matters on job seeking;; maybe since with his pov, they went together to find the two. the mom and him can have a talk and make the kids actually say sorry and clear him up.
sad that they didnt show yori's pov, it wouldve shown why the dad was so homophobic and strict with him. that guy didnt even know his kid was dying while he go on buying beer cans.. i wanna know if he has his reasons or hes also scared of other people's judgement.
I love the mother too!! somehow minato is also scared of telling his mom about him liking guys since she also expects of him to create a family for himself that his son feels sorry for since he cant live up to it when he said "sorry I can't be like dad." that was so sad :( but i feel like she wouldve been supportive if minato tells her. but realistically, easy to say but hard to do.
I suppose it is up to you to interpret it.For me, yes, they died. The sudden change of the weather and colors and…
i also thought they died cause the train was flipped over right? and from minato's pov, i feel like it was just his dying thoughts that makes it look like they survived and lived happily ever after together cause aint no way they wouldve made it accross when they go down from the train's window with that so much dirt from landslide with the train and also there shouldve been a gate(from the time they made the toy that they swing around) to go to that bridge but it was gone.
but if the director said its an open-ending.. ill take that since I would rather go with the idea of them being alive instead lol Q_Q
So do you think Shane actually liked Jonathan? Or maybe he’s confused??
Yeah, no he's not confused. He passively knows he likes jonathan but he always shrugs it off. actually he's for sure a bisexual since it's real that he fell in love with jonathan first then carie, even when they were a kid, shane knew jonathan was only asked by the teachers to be friends with him, but he still kept jonathan close. its just that he's a coward. someone who read the novel said that in the end, no one from the trio ended up together and jonathan died.
its so cute! I wanted to see yori's pov but i guess it wasn't shown on purpose. so many symbolisms throughout the whole series, everything is connected. it shows that everything could be easy in life but it gets hard as life has a structure-like where theres rules and beliefs, that ppl ends up having secrets and telling lies to blend in and continue living without worries even if its against their happiness. so who is the monster? no one but ourselves.
defending and correcting is two different things! mdl commenters are sometimes dumb and its true cause they just…
Oh I get your comment now, my bad! you were saying how weird it was to actually defend the two terms but this series isn't showing any of those... ahh;; I agree hehehe they gotta stop carelessly putting labels and also defending it in a way that makes the actual pedophilia and incest okay which is wrong. its been rough being an mdl user, too many sore eye comments. ❤️😭 so sorry
Its not about the incest or pedophilia you can defend that all y'all want. "Technically he's adopted" ew no families…
defending and correcting is two different things! mdl commenters are sometimes dumb and its true cause they just put any term on anything blindingly without it actually being what it is or didn't even happen (yet?) on the series just like you.
the thing is, the way u defend your opinion & insight about incest and pedophilia, makes it obvious that you presume things that actually happens for the two terms which doesn't happen in the series so far so you trying to force that its incest and pedophilia is ALSO WEIRD, you're also trying so hard to prove it is with lack of actual evidence that can actual define as the two terms lol
there's still 4 episodes left to air so I also can't say anything yet if I can actually say it's not what it is, I might be biting my tongue. your comment is valid but im just sick that nothings happening (yet?) but ppl have things to talk about like it happened, geez calm down.
its okay for people to think about what's wrong for them, just like some ppl thinks being gay is a sin so I respect it but yk, the definition and google is not far away.
In case anyone isn't aware, season 2 has been changed.Apparently, Chai Jidan sold Stay With Me to the dubbing…
Bruh.. I thought the director is finally fearless and good. Why did they have to get our hopes up then abandon it?? It makes no sense. The series actually did very well, why did she have to get blinded by the money. Should've just cancelled it! Very disappointed with her decision. Now swm for sure ended with the memory of the car crash Q_Q
Everyones spoiling in the comments... y'all can argue but don't forget it! Anyways I guessed it! I was actually careful if I should say it without the ep 4 getting published yet cause ik ppl are gonna fight me but I guessed it, the todo brothers are in love with each other and aren't related cause one of them is adopted. It's not incest if they aren't actually blood-related, but it is weird since they are step-brothers only on paper. They have a lot of bump road, especially explaining to their parents when they become official TT I haven't read the manga yet but are the ages of the characters revealed? If so, can someone tell? And If not, then why are we jumping to conclusions?? It's obvious Toki is chasing after Sahara and yet, Sahara isn't giving any sign of actually liking him back other than just treating him well (don't count the kiss cause it's just a play and an accident! Sahara wasn't supposed to even kiss Toki but his knees slipped) But do curse me if they become official while Toki is at school. I'm really thinking Sahara is a well-mannered guy and will wait for Toki when Toki graduates and comes to a legal age.
Well, can't believe that Yanase Jun and Kaneda Yuki is forgetting there's internet and ways to communicate for…
No, if you watch it carefully. They purposely did not contact each other while away because they focused on getting better at their job to ofc get compliments from each other about their growth lol but it's true, it is weird that they didn't contact each other, so when yanase came back, he couldn't dote on kaneda like he used to cause he doesn't know if kaneda changed. same for kaneda, who is shy and doesn't take the initiative (yanase always initiates the intimate stuffs)
The kissing scenes of the MLs were so horrible.. I couldn't take it. It's like two fishes with their mouth close to each other. So awkward as well.. -sigh- I had to fast forward. Could've done without it, they looked so uncomfortable which makes me uncomfortable as well.
Still love the casts, all of them are good looking and had good performance! Love the chemistry between the 2 pairs and it has heart-fluttering moments that made me giggle a lot. The plot is very cute.
Chapter 24 (end) "The Light Years of Summer"Du Huijia’s viewpoint (Carrie’s)This summer is coming to an end.…
OH! MY! This even became sadder.. so even after that ending with their obvious confession to each other on the movie, they still didn't end up together? Much worse, no one between the trio ended up together and Jonathan DIED!? ;-; I didn't wanna know that but it's much better than having no closure just with the movie... Even till the end Shane was a coward for his feelings towards Jonathan. Maybe in another universe, they'll be together;;
but idk cuz its weird romanticizing kids;; but im not gonna say what it is, not like the person up there.
