i rewatched this after many years and while it definitely is for a mature audience and discusses mature themes,…
If you correctly watched in-order of the franchise. You wouldn't know a single thing about Kijima as well! Don't be so harsh on Kuzumi.. You expected too much.
Didn't you realize the whole thing, we can't actually know what Kijima truly felt, like he was given inside dialogue and we know he's depressed but it doesn't explain him deeply even through his pov on the playback, he make face expressions and decisions without explanation. Even though we know his experiences on the surface cause the story revolves around him, we only got to see it from other people's pov. Somehow it's up to us watchers to interpret how he feels which opens a bunch of possibilities but in the end they actually showed Kijima's true feelings and shows happiness that is self-explanatory even though it was short..TT
What I'm saying is that it's a planned move the director did to show Kijima's experiences and how he's so guarded that other character's pov play an important role on getting to know about Kijima, why he's guarded and how he will open up.
Why this one has lower rating than mood indigo š„²š
I think it's the in-depth story and the story not only revolving around the Mls which lacks in the novelist. made it quite higher also some other factors like chemistry and acting-wise which people compared with the novelistTT seriously, it's the same franchise but the fans are divided when it comes to who they support. This should be a lesson that if you watch a continuation or a prequel, you should erase what you just watched and critically rate on their performance rather than the comparing way;;
Ah! That was great! I can see why people liked it more now than the first season. It has more story and depth…
I feel bad for (kd)kido, at first season I didn't like him because when he went in (kj)kijima's house with keys, I just knew he was the reason that kj is unable to open up easily. I can't really blame kd, he was already used to trying everything to be safe from loneliness and the society even when he hasn't met kj yet. I see him as a gay or maybe bi rather than a heterosexual based on the a bunch of comments that I saw. Kd had always want anal, asking for it when he does it with women.
He has been keeping it in for a really long time so when kj was going to give him a bj, he was hesitant and scared cause he was going to finally be exposed which he ended up liking, it felt good to kd to finally feel what he wanted to feel but of course, he ended up hurting kj cause he got scared. He was too used to being a people-pleaser and stand by the society even if they did nothing wrong, he couldn't give up his comfort. Kd seeing kj happy with someone else in the end, I see so much regret and longing but he couldn't go back. :'(
Kinda scared to watch this cause after knowing kido has a key to kijima's house and kijima being all sort of mess…
Ah! That was great! I can see why people liked it more now than the first season. It has more story and depth rather than the first season where it only revolved around kuzumi and kijima.
Kinda scared to watch this cause after knowing kido has a key to kijima's house and kijima being all sort of mess in the first season. I could only come to conclusion that it didn't end well for the both of them.. aahh I wanna stay with the idea of kijima with kuzumi but I must know his past! Here I go;;
damn it's crazy how they filmed this on a 360 camera which is cool not thinking how it'll get published. they somehow made it harder for themselves. It's been a long time but I will be waiting regardless!!
Hm loved it but the old man with glasses scenes is not it,kind of weird in my opinionš¤·
True!! Inami's like responsible for so many girl's/boy's life getting ruined all because he's secretly in-love and they made that reason to make him like-able. which is a weird play. He doesn't even deserve a happy ending but he did regardless of going to prison cause he got to confess to the guy he likes.
This was somehow good, it's not the best but it's not the worst either. One episode in, and you can already tell the whole story cause the direction this drama went with their story is one-dimensional. It's re-watchable cause it doesn't have those eps that makes you not want to relive. Overall, I think most watchers(including me) even though it was bland, still kept on watching cause both of the main leads looks so attractive.
I can't believe I had to find this myself and isn't part of what people recs that is a good BL;; this is a crime for being underrated! IT WAS INSANELY GOOD! Everything was just right, both of them were so darn cute. When I get old, I hope I get reminded of this cause I think it'll help a lot with anti-aging lol
it's crazy that people don't like earth's character, like the director overused his talent to cry a lot and you guys didn't appreciate it. i guess it's the stereotype of a guy personality that everyone loves which is santa's character, to be a mess, carefree with no self-awareness whatsoever when it comes their partner which is see-iw's feelings.
his character be having a gf on the phone(rin) and on the bed(see-iw), like pick one, he can use the reason "treating him like a brother" but bro be contemplating on whether to spend more time with his gf or his 'bro' rather than doing his own homework. they are a highschooler there so its reasonable but you guys dont see the fact that see-iw as well a highschooler, and he had development. cake's mess was always cleaned up by see-iw.
I just wished see-iw had tried having a relationship with others as well rather than being stuck with cake, so he can taste his own medicine.
Also this series spent too much time with their high school life, the only exciting parts were when they were on their college which is ep 10, so close to the end lol. I also don't get the reason why they added see-iw's sisters relationship with cake's friend, like it was so out of nowhere! I was like, am I supposed to be excited? Cause there was no story or any info about them that I could get attached to other than them being each other's romance interest. No one even asked for it.
I was seriously 12% awake and 88% on fast forward, things were taking so long! I know it's a slow burn but damn, the back and forth is too much.
So weird, so many comments are defending nagisa which is okay but it's getting to the point that it becomes a long convo like it's a must to like him. why can't others just accept that some people don't like nagisa and stop shoving their opinions above others. The only way and reason for defending was things are realistic and people make mistakes with life but it doesn't change the fact that it was problematic!
We get it, everything nagisa does is understandable but doesn't change the fact that he did them to save himself from getting hurt by the society which resulted on letting others take the hurt instead. He is very selfish and a coward which everyone agrees on from his decisions. Overall, what I wished they would've made to defend nagisa is that people can change, past is past and from then on he should continue on being a good person and take responsibility from his arrogant past decisions but.. I didn't understand how the first step on becoming a good person for nagisa was to literally be a burden to shun, I know he still loves him and everything was somehow an accident and it wasn't cheating since they broke up but he came to him unwarned like my guy was not mentally prepared and he didn't seem like he was fully healed from what nagisa did, the least he couldve done is show up to him, apologize and if he wanted to reconcile, he couldve given shun some space to open up not outright going into his house so soon! I wouldn't want to breathe the same air with my ex who I haven't moved on from, I feel so bad for him.
You should have kept watching. People change. Good things come from bad. Forgiveness is a beautiful thing. Nagisa's…
I know this comment is so long ago but as I kept scrolling on the comments, I kept seeing this person and just made me so pissed off with them putting their opinion above other people's opinion. Some people just don't like some criteria of the movie and you should learn to accept it! stop shoving and forcing your likings onto others!! also such a defensive person, I know you like Nagisa but it's so embarrassing that you have to keep protecting his character from some viewers that saw his flaws and some people just don't like what they see even if it's realistic. People does change but forgiving is not for everyone and you can't change someone else's opinion with yours. You're giving me fan-behavior, such people just makes me hate the series/movie even though it's good cause it's like we cant give our real feedback from our perspective cause you want yours to be superior. STOP IT! YOU CAN DEFEND YOUR CHARACTERS BUT DONT PUT YOUR OPINION ABOVE OTHERS.
the winner seok-jin really deserves it all, he's got the luck, smarts and looks!! damn he was crazy since in all games, he somehow won and he made sure everything went to his way and it did. I've never seen a guy like him but It's sad that people are not looking on my guy orbit well. It just seems like he was in a state with the idea of a person who is kind. During that Go game, the people outright keep attacking his grass block yet he still made sure to help them and guide them on putting their blocks.
I don't think he should be put as a villain. If we're talking about the alliances, no one's catching up on the fact that the three(dong jae, si won and guillaume) formed an alliance first which made them win on the first game and continued on the second game(adding seok-jin) but that time they didn't win cause the other's fomed an alliance as well. It's only right for the others to have trust issues of them and to see them as a threat from starting an alliance so early when everyone was playing individually for themselves and fairly during the first game. They gave me the vibes of "This method is boring now cause nothing is going our way and they turned our strategy against us". No one, even me expected them to actually play fairly after being stuck for 2 nights of games with them being alliance. It's very fair to go against them but indeed very ruthless and it sucks that dong hae got eliminated so fast cause he was seriously a good candidate to be a winner or at least be part of the last 3.
what am i suppose to feel for the ending.. it seems like they tried to justify a lot of things that isn't justifiable (old married gay man with a gay student which is somehow.. consensual but without the wife knowing anything about it till the end!! the wife deserves to know he was with a 2-timing cheater, a gay student wanting to be normal but did he actually become true to himself in the end? in ep 7 he even kissed miura which seems so out of nowhere(?) someone explain!!, getting outed in that ceromony, if that was me, i would literally unalive myself! most of the students who where outright bullying him ended up being supportive or whateva was so unrealistic, u would get non-stop bullying from your classmates no matter how sad being gay is if you get outed to everyone cause if we fr not everyone will be that acceptance to it lol also fahrenheit is 15 years old!? his lover was real since they went to his grave but what the hell? that kid was with a pedophile no matter how you look at it! that is bad how they presented it as an okay thing...) the only thing i liked was the quote fahrenheit gave, everything else nope. as a gay person, i dont feel for the gay main guy here. this series doesnt make me feel good about being gay at all, the gay references and relationships were so toxic and just not a good presentation of LGBTQ from my point of view, it's more of a bi series (leaning onto straight). it just ends with me going with "huh?", i dont get why people labeled this as bl cause it is not bl at all.. its a problematic series with problematic characters except miura, that girl i just knew she would get hurt in the end cause a selfish gay guy was in-denial.
The manga is really slooooooow burn, like really slow. I feel like the drama is going too fast in comparison!…
ah that makes sense!! i havent read the manga yet so i have no idea whats ahead. maybe this drama will make me like slow burn but on honest reviw on current episode, i dont like it cause of the so much push and pulling. Ill look forward till episode 8 and come back here š¤§
Heās like that in the manga too, he doesnāt show his feelings, cos of what happened when he was a kid, more…
i havent read the manga yet so this is my honest view on the drama so far, no comparison. idk what happened but i hope it get resolved and get them to be more closer than they are rn. also interested on more sides of yamato that is not yet seen, i did feel him keeping his emotions to himself and have a lot of secrets that kakeru doesnt know
so far so good but they keep pushing and pulling rather than facing each other's feelings.. we are already on ep 4 and theres 4 eps left, they surely are taking their time haha.. i guess the drama will end as soon as they get together/found out about each other's feelings, i thought it'll be longer than that TT
also kakeru's actor is so good at face expression!! yamato's actor face method is always the same(?) for me.. he needs to find ways to make his face be more expressive cause i cant feel what im supposed to be feeling for him sometimes;;
another idk if its just me but they are having awkward tension since it's new for them to suddenly have feelings for each other especially for kakeru, it's understandable that he'll be confused but for yamato who has feelings already for a while, it doesnt seem like that for me, you're telling me he hasnt made a move until when it seems that kakeru might get taken away from him by a girl!! it's not love that made him want to hold onto him and pursue kakeru but jealousy and regret in the end. i really dont like such tropes but!! THEY ARE JUST SO CUTE SO I CANNTTTT
