Yeah I know. He didn't want to give in too easily like he said that he doesn't fall in love too easily (unless that was a lie) because he wanted to be 100 percent sure. His suspicions may be cleared but he's clearly in conscience conflict. To say I love you out of nowhere, especially after confession, especially he found out that he did this to HIS mother, imo is a bit strange (not an appropriate time and place). But it's just my opinion. I can't bother to read the novel because they aren't always the same.

I like that the ending is open ended . This is such a controversial topic. I have no complaints about this except at that ending where the police said the big L to the doctor. I thought that was a bit unrealistic considering how slow their relationship was. Another complaints, there were some medical errors as well. They should've had medical experts on board.

honestly, I might get killed for saying this but if it weren't for episodes 5 and 6, I would have thought JY deserved someone better. Someone like JY, with such naïveness and positive outlook in life, surely would've found somebody already and maybe even married in those 12 years and DH would be the miserable one, living by himself and drinking alcohol. I just don't see JY, supposedly somewhat from religious background, as someone still single after all these years. Yes, DH is a broken man but he struggle to be honest with himself. If he truly wants to forget the past, he needs to let it go (forgiveness). Easier said than done, but it is still hard for me to sympathize someone like him who tried to erase not just his father, but also JY? He only buried the issue without it being resolved. Less self-pity, more healing!

Dohoe has such daddy issues, he's calculative and gas-lighting people into guilt and avoiding conversations. I can't imagine it was easy but he sure like to defect the blame on someone else and putting words in peoples mouth. He doesn't listen well and makes too many assumptions. He went through 12 years on those assumptions. It was a huge turn off when he showed off his success and wealth in that restaurant. That served no purpose and then was refusing to sell the gym because he wants everything erased from his memory and juyeong is selfish? Just trying to figure out what the hell juyeong did wrong.

Here is my take. Denis can't be the one who shot the arrow at him. I think it was an ordered assassination by the father who was angry at Min Youdam because he named this child that was from a shaman's house. Maybe Denis was the shaman who took care of Dongbaek. The pills that Denis was taking, made me feel like he was someone much older like a shaman would be someone very old .. like a witch or warlock. The ending Denis said he wanted to protect Dongbaek so he might have been the shaman. Or maybe like the other comments said, Denis is just a crazy idol on meds who might had had some relationship with Youdam before Dongbaek came along.
