I'm so confused about the USB thing. I thought it was the sister's USB that was thrown in Suan's bag but after looking at the dirty manhwa, Mr Han stood up (when Suan took it out of Mr Han's computer), grabbing Suan's hand and said it was his. But Suan angrily took it back and put in the bag. And then in Episode 2, Suan was told by the recruiter that Mr. Han got in trouble for the dirty manhwa on 'his personal USB'but how?? How did the sisters USB stuff got on his USB and then got discovered by his boss??? What the heck? 😂 The only explanation I can think of is that Mr. Han begged Suan to get the "next episodes" of manhwa and Suan caved in and his sister agreed and he copied them into his USB but it isn't explained in the story.

On just viki is not enough. I pay subscription for tencent, iqiyi and gagaoolala, come on. I don't want to pay another just to watch this. It should be on at least two subscriptions!!!!

In my opinion, plot is just as important, if not, more important than even acting for it to be considered a drama at all... What's a story without a plot??? And I feel like this is totally regurgitated stuffs you can't tell what is what. This has way too many cuts and storyline wasn't streamlined properly but chopped and minced up so bad that I get totally lost.... not even the novel can save you from understanding this. Just focusing on their acting is not enough. It's usually the scriptwriting that makes the biggest impact. The director neglected this and decided to take a bigger bite he can chew. He could've opted for a simple love story without all the kisses. To be honest, I wonder if he just wanted to "go big or go home" route, a quick scheme to get the audience, with a big name like addicted.

But they had no problem stealing the original name, etc. And even put Chinese in its title? That's where I have a huge problem with.

Another reason why i'm pissed off is because the original story is much more complex and would have required at least 24 episodes (maybe 16 for longer episodes if you're clever) but if they're gonna rush it like they did episode 6, that's a travesty. Again, I'll say it one and last time, they should've not chose this novel to begin with.

Yeah... Nope. I'm dropping this. I really tried but episode 6 has to be the worst neck whiplash ever... like wtf did just happened??? All the sudden Pop is living with his NOW boyfriend and we didn't even see how they ended up together in bed naked. In the novel, he did not give in that easily. 🤣 Not by a far shot. Not only the director forced us to settle for "no kiss", ok fine, because of the underaged actor, which they've could gotten someone else but refused for some reason, but also forced us to settle for "kid-friendly" nonsense. With no classmates or family developments whatsoever and just expect us to just to accept whatever goes on between those two without any explanation or scenes showing how they (especially Pop) slowly fall in love like the novel? Nah. So once again because they're dealing with a minor, the director is covering this bs excuse with "trying something different". He picked the wrong novel then... If there's something this director is good at-- it's butchering someone's work.

It's not about respecting thai culture but getting accurate translation and interpretation as if they're speaking English. English-speaking people do not use third person when referring to themselves. So reading the subtitles can get confusing for them, especially if they are not familiar with thai way of speaking. And there are certain words that can simply be interpreted to other words like "darling" and "honey" and still have the same undertones as if it was in Thai.

I haven't read the novel or anything but let me see if I understood this correctly.. please correct me if I am wrong, which I am sure I am... Patt and Elis slept together, at least once, (one night stand) and Patt did not want the relationship to continue from there. During 5 years of working together, Elis who is dejected, retorted to drinking out and sleeping around with different partners. Until one day, Elis gave (a promotion?) to someone else, which is Kim, maybe because Elis wants Patt to stay as his secretary. and Patt decides he wants to quit. Elis, taken back by this, tries to convince Patt to stay by wooing him again?? Ok but the next episode makes it look like he's gonna treat him like shit so IDK how that would work out 😐... I'd run out of that job ASAP. 😆

They should've known how dark and mature the original novel was beforehand- before they even cast actors. They knew there were SA and rape in the story. But they went ahead and cast a 15 year old anyway. It's a bit unfair to call us 'creepy' or whatever.

I am not disappointed but they just shouldn't put a label over it with someone's title and works (even with permission of the owner). But they went way off on the atmosphere. Maybe it's better if they would just call it something else and consider OG addicted as an inspiration or something. Otherwise why bother with this series?

Because most fans prefer them to be "single" so they can 'ship' them together. I have no problem with them having their own private lives like normal people but let's be honest, most fans would just turn around.

And that's why I didn't watch SwM. Heartbroken after the OG, I waited until I saw to it they start filming ss2. But of course they didnt. So..... I didn't watch it. 😭
