no, it's not about love triangle.
both male leads love the same woman but their characters are not liked the usual drama love triangle where they compete each other to win the FL's heart..this is more complicated than that..
even at some point, the ML wanted the FL to just go with the SML & live normal life, he just wanted her to be happy... and the SML also told the FL to let the ML go and using him instead (like helping her to do those bad deeds) rather than keep on treating the ML like a robot...coz SML thought the ML cared for the FL genuinely..

i could say that 3 of them had an unique relationship.

yea he is also my fave actor.. but i've expected since the beginning that his role won't be that much coz he's only 4th role, but seeing how he prepared for this role by learning singing and contributed 5 OSTs is something i never expected before.. so i'm grateful he decided to take this role.. coz he's good at singing...

i also think ham ji woo is also just liked a supporting cast not really the main role..but most of his scenes with the FL are beautiful so i'm fine with it..

those other male characters are the supporting characters in each of ajin's stories to reach to the top, it's liked a detective drama with different cases with different characters, but the female and male lead are still there... coz you said every ML, people will think the ML will change in each arc by the way you described it....coz kim ji hoon, inyoup and jong hyun aren't male leads, but supporting roles.

there's a reason that he took this 4th lead role coz at almost the same time he was also filming for his next drama dear x (he overlapped filming both dramas from feb-may), that's why his role was not that much in this drama..the lead roles are the 3 ladies after all.. coz the novel is also about them.. the writer just added his character into it for the romance part.. but his part remains quite impactful to the FL's life.. and they also talked about his long lost dream too in remaining episodes...and he also contributed OSTs for the drama. so i guess it's fine.

and i think it's totally fine for an actor to not always taking lead roles in a drama..

coz the FL is a sociopath who can't understand to love someone.. she only thought about herself.. so the male characters in this drama would be one sided love to her.. if she ever loved someone it'd be with the ML.. coz he was the one who always by her side since they were little and helped her the most for what she wanted to achieve with all the other characters in the drama..
