i also think ham ji woo is also just liked a supporting cast not really the main role..but most of his scenes with the FL are beautiful so i'm fine with it..

those other male characters are the supporting characters in each of ajin's stories to reach to the top, it's liked a detective drama with different cases with different characters, but the female and male lead are still there... coz you said every ML, people will think the ML will change in each arc by the way you described it....coz kim ji hoon, inyoup and jong hyun aren't male leads, but supporting roles.

there's a reason that he took this 4th lead role coz at almost the same time he was also filming for his next drama dear x (he overlapped filming both dramas from feb-may), that's why his role was not that much in this drama..the lead roles are the 3 ladies after all.. coz the novel is also about them.. the writer just added his character into it for the romance part.. but his part remains quite impactful to the FL's life.. and they also talked about his long lost dream too in remaining episodes...and he also contributed OSTs for the drama. so i guess it's fine.

and i think it's totally fine for an actor to not always taking lead roles in a drama..

coz the FL is a sociopath who can't understand to love someone.. she only thought about herself.. so the male characters in this drama would be one sided love to her.. if she ever loved someone it'd be with the ML.. coz he was the one who always by her side since they were little and helped her the most for what she wanted to achieve with all the other characters in the drama..

no, they don't change the ML in each arc, coz the male lead is junseo,. Junseo is always there with her, coz he's the one who will confront & help her with her plans with every single men she targeted.. Jaeoh also will come around to help too specially in Inkang's story..

get over it..the drama is about to be aired next month.. if u don't like the way he act then just skip it.. also if he can't act.. do you think PD lee eung bok and the production team would hire him? he's not also that particular popular like his other peers..there's something in him that those higher up saw in him so they decided to offer him this role.. he's capable that's why he's offered.. as simple as that..

i also don't understand people like you to keep saying he can't act where there are also many people enjoy his acting in his past dramas.... if his acting just doesn't fit with your standard... doesn't mean he can't act.. you can just simply skip this drama..

he was playing a celebrity here at early episode but most of the time, his role changed into that general role, the cold one.. watch it til the end..

... hey listen, if you're frustrating over this kind of male lead.. then go watch another drama that fits to your ML standard. ...there are plenty other dramas out there... the ML here is the straightforward type.. unlike his other roles in previous dramas.. his role similar is only from the shooting stars (but his character is not straight forward type but more to in denial type)..
their romance is a romcom type.. of coz want to make Female's heart flutters.. that's the purpose.. and nothing is wrong with that.. it's just for entertainment..it's a 12 eps drama only.. if they dont speed up the stories, they could drag it out for 20 eps.. and people will still complain..

the romance is there just for side story but also to make the FL more confident in her life choices.. the ML is there to support n encourage her..the ML character also his own dream (this have yet to be realized yet.. maybe in last 4 eps..)
