My adHD ass does not have patience for watching several episodes to understand a show. If you confuse watchers for first several episodes and make it obvious that they are going to proceed to do stupid suicidal forbidden arts that also has choppy editing. I'm not dissing it just saying it's not for me.

I dropped at beginning of episode 3 just now. A lot has to do with the writing and lots of it being confusing.

All Chinese dramas are dubbed 🤣. Half the shows are filmed at those mega filming lots where 5 different shows are filmed close by. Usually the actor will dub themselves but sometimes if they don't have the correct accent that they want because they are picky on only particular accents allowed, they hire a voice actor. It's happened to a lot of actors and isn't a big deal to real cdrama fans

The wonky English subtitles on youku sometimes makes me confused in some scenes 😭. Like can someone fix the AI program these streaming services use to generate subtitles? I still enjoy the show but reading the FL's sister talking to her husband and subtitle says dead girl it makes me go 🤨

it's an investigation of a tax interpretation dispute. it's to verify if the company is legit or not.

he probably doesn't want to deal with the constant peer pressure to drink. some areas of work and friends will accept no for an answer but others will pressure you to drink. acting like it's disrespectful to elders if you refuse their drink etc

I dislike her 50% of the time. Sometimes she really tests my patience. Honestly if the ML wasn't so funny and hot i would drop just because i hate the teens and she gets on my nerves a lot. I drop so many shows if I don't like the leads

if i was that boy's classmate i would put soap in a sock and beat him for sabotaging the relay race. especially his face for smirking. if you want to win over your B of a crush then start failing your classes not screwing over your teammates.

i started skipping the scenes when it's just the teens since i can't temporarily watch on higher speed.

Because his friend is so nonconfrontational that she's spineless. Also we're talking about the culture they are raised in. This isn't characters breaking the traditions they were raised with. They follow most of the social hierarchy and respect elders to not loose face. Past life of 3 of the main characters were lower class servant and dancers. They are bottom of totem pole. Then current life the "friend" won't break free of respecting elders or professor figures to protect her friend. Because she is too scared to confront others to be a real friend. Same with willing to buy back your painting because he's used to minimizing himself and can't rely on anyone to protect him if he confronted his creep of a teacher

I gave up half way through the 7th episode. I just couldn't with the FL. It's like they reduced the character from the kdrama to 25%. One of my favorite parts of the kdrama was the FL. She was a baddie and smart. This FL just feels like a spot to fill so the ML isn't alone while investigating. etc. I am now rewatching the OG because is the 2nd disappointing zombie drama since struggling through zomvivor. I only watched in the first place to support Saint but i can't

Inspector King has mastered the art of showing up where he is absolutely not wanted. Even if he's 1% less of a dirty cop, i still want to clock him every time he spawns into a scene

I'm about to watch episode 4 after responding. It's alright, if you don't compare to the OG. So far nobody is making me want to bang my head against a wall like zomvivor did. But not as great as the Korean version

I'm judging it separately from the OG kdrama. It's not fair if you compare it to the the original. That was top tier kdrama and zombie drama. So you'll just disappoint yourself trying to compare the 2. They made changes not only to not be copy, paste but also to reflect the different cultures. Like 1st episode the kdrama FL wouldn't have let the abusive neighbor go, but Thai culture is you don't generally interfere with your neighbor. That's why you might hear the restaurant in a residential area blasting music until 11:30pm every weekend and holidays. Or fireworks going off for 9 hrs straight. Though if the offender is a Farang they might be more likely to complain.

Childhood friend? That prosecutor wasn't her friend he was her bully. The other guy that does PI stuff she met as an adult and a licensed lawyer when she defended him

Started watching because of clips in Instagram show similarities to WOH. Bendy blade and the other ones catches it between his fingers like Wen Kexing, the guy with the fan weapon wearing red hanfu etc.

I hate the beginning of episode 5. Just because POS King donated blood doesn't absolve him from being a POS person and a POS cop. I hate that character with a passion and every time i see his face on screen i have an uncontrollable urge to knock his ass out and break his nose, also want to clock their boss. I have listened to so many true crime podcasts involving wrongly convicted people that cops that try to get wrongly focused on the wrong suspect because they can't admit their wrong, throw someone under the bus because they worry too much about annoying media. Seeing characters act like that piss me off. yeah the ML did it before and learned from his deadly mistake, but he changed his behavior and does better and protects others. King on the other hand hasn't learned anything and goes around with that stupid smile constantly

I agree only about the police work being so unrealistic. They don't keep gloves in their pocket to pick up trace evidence. Them constantly picking things up without proper photos. They don't take phone photos. All evidence must be gathered by the forensics team and documented with a real camera.

That's what i figured. Because they could have had a short clip with her confronting him if she cared.

She did not come off as liking her boyfriend whatsoever. You should still not be with someone just because they're paying for your siblings tuition. She only reacted to that other girl in the bathroom about being accused of being with him for his financial support not because she claimed he cheated on her. She didn't even confront him about it.
