How are they gonna cut from Phop committing suicide to Teena teasing Zouey with Ice?!?!?!? I got whiplash!
Hmm, I wouldn't be so sure that Phop is dead. Yeah, they want us to think so, but is it true? They've shown us how he collapses, but he might as well have taken off after the drugs. And wouldn't that be too easy? Dying is the easiest thing to do, for killing Nant he should be going to jail, not happily running around "in the clouds".
Same, I don't trust them he's dead. They might as well post an obituary on IG, I still won't believe them. 😁
Yeah, but to end up like this is very playboyyish and far more surprising than the death at the hands of Jason Lee or even Prom itself. It looks as if, from a certain point onwards, a completely different person was in charge of the script and the editing.

And there wasn't even much of him on screen :) It's hard to really empathise with a character like that, but the fact that he had a chance to survive and reach his family and failed by complete accident... For me he was such a ghost figure, a great absentee around whom the plot was supposed to revolve. Buuut his visuals was amazing and NC scenes with Prom were really hot.
Ok, this is not what I thought the last ep will look like, like what on earth???? Anyways - not enough screentime…
Pool scene really had potential, but the actors looked a bit different, so they would have had to re-record it anyway and who knows what we would have got in the end

Perhaps Nant should make a grand entrance, exclaim: "I'm dead, bitches" and only then should he give up the ghost. It would be an amazing ending for so pleasantly weird series.

They showed you his body dumped in the forest, they showed you how he died and who killed him. And you still don't believe that he is dead.... That's what the Playboyy audience is, isn't it? :)
Who did Phop kill though, my brain is working overtime
About Phop... I'm not really a fan of him or Nuth. Do I feel sorry for him? Yes, but life is not a fairy tale and shit happens. Importantly, what happened was a consequence of his choices - prostitution, drugs, a relationship with the mentally unstable Nuth. And, as it turns out, his obsession with Nuth, whom he wanted only for himself. He probably thought he lost everything and drugs was a way to escape reality.

Keen is dickmatised with Captain and perhaps in the process really felt something for him. Or it's just how comfortable he is since he knows Captain is in love with him plus he now realises what a little shit he is :) Why did Keen sacrifice Captain? To avoid drowning himself and probably a bit out of revenge on that adorable asshole.
Who did Phop kill though, my brain is working overtime
Honestly, with characters in this series, nothing should come as a surprise :) But given Phop's fixated on Nuth, I believe he might not have said a word.
Who did Phop kill though, my brain is working overtime
The point is whether Phop recognised Nant or merely guessed it was him, or perhaps he had no idea who it was and killed out of fear that someone was following them. In any case, Nant is dead.
does it have a happy ending? who ended up together?
Define the happy ending :) There is no black and white in Playboyy, only different shades of grey. Everyone is a little bit crazy and no one is entirely guilt-free, so even the supposedly happy ending is not entirely happy. Well, and in reality it can hardly be called an ending - I'm hoping for a second season or at least a special episode.

I assume it was Nant who for some reason wanted to meet Nuth. Phop probably killed him out of jealousy or in a burst of emotion.
And this means that Nant could have come back in one piece if not for Phop's psychotic reaction. This fits perfectly with the unhinged vibe of the series.
Did Park cheat ? the two guys outside, I could be wrong but they both look like the side couple who had drunk…
The two guys outside were indeed the side couple (hosts) from drunk sex (as well as bathroom sex and kisses from previous episode) - Bew i Park, so there was no cheating (just Bew looking better than usual, that's why you might not have recognized him :)), they have been a thing from several episodes now.
Okay, I was debating if I should start it and your comment convinced me to give it a try 😄
Oh, Venus in The Sky was soooo bad :) But I caught myself enjoying unhinged Secret Crush on You (the first few episodes had me laughing like crazy in the middle of the night), which everyone spits on, so...

Not long after my comment there were a lot of negative reviews from people who didn't like this series, so I don't take responsibility for that :) but it's worth seeing and deciding for yourself, I've already learned that MDL user ratings and reviews don't always do the series justice.
"My pork blood soup, why did you have to die before me?".
This sentence perfectly sums up the nature of this series - it's quirky, at times funny and certainly not very serious (even immature), but definitely entertaining. Friends - lovers of supernatural phenomena, a vampire who loves cats, is afraid of thunderstorms and has done a lot to die (with absolutely no results, apart from skin irritated from the sun because the umbrella fell too far :)) and a bizarre love of pork blood soup in both ML.
We're only two episodes into the series, but it's already clear that this is something to love or hate. I don't expect cinematography of the highest level here, but it's certainly something different that - at least for now - is enjoyable to watch. I'm curious to see how this romance will develop and what sort of drama the scriptwriters will give us. The series is rated 13+, so I'm not counting on hot scenes (although for some reason unfathomable to me Pit Babe is also 13+), but I'm hoping the story will be quirky enough that no spectacular NCs will be needed.
Is it worth checking out what a nice vampire might look like? Definitely yes. Have huge bowls of blood pork soup good for anaemia made me start eating it from today? Definitely no. Am I hoping for a happy ending? Here I have no doubt - I'm hoping for a light, fun story with a bit of standard drama to replace the soon-to-be-ending comfort drama that is currently Cherry Magic for me. Is it worth giving 1000 Years Old a chance? Sure! You might just happen to like pork soup blood and the whole story that revolves around it.
I think many people forget (or don't realize at all) that Cherry Magic is a series that is based on a manga, not a remake of the Japanese version. That's why the script is tailored to cultural differences and it's easy to see the changes from the original.
I really love the Japanese version, which is why the plans to make Cherry Magic immediately caught my eye. This series is exactly what I assumed it would be (which doesn't happen often) - a lazily told comfort story that we all deserve
