I enjoyed it, it has a very dark theme [Child rape/porn] but it also has comedic and buddy moments. If you like martial arts, this movie has some action packed scenes.. Solo Good guy vs many bad guys, yep... emotional heart touching, yep... I think the movie should be a 9 vs 8.6...
IMO, really, really good light hearted rom-com for those dark and weary days that we go through. Warm, moving, excellent... As I watched this, I recalled the American movie "My life as a house", which is a very moving teary eyed movie.
I shouldn't watched... Now I'm shedding tears as this reminded me of Queen of Tears ending. In some aspects I am thankful I won't have to see the mother of my children die, or her have to see me die. As we recently ended our 36 year long relationship. We are still friends, but when we die, we may not be aware of the others passing. She will be in the states and my plan is to live and die [ old age/natural causes] in another land. Our children told us to go life our lives and discover new things about ourselves. They are adults and want us to enjoy our twilight years any way we wish. But again, the ending here is what many married couples desire/but don't desire...
I love Hidden love and kept "surprising" myself that the male lead was the lead in that series too. Over all I liked the show. The OST, the customs, it all was pretty good. Yes it dragged in spots. And if you came to this show after watching Blossoms in Adversity and/or the Double, then the show has a tougher battle of leaving a good impression. Over all, there are better shows, and there are worst shows.
The series really isn't my cup of tea, but the intrigue and story pulled me in. I loved the series, thought it was great. Then the last 10 minutes of episode 40 kinda put a damper on things. But that was ok, because it fet right for the story they were telling.
A rom-com that lives up to it's title. Keep in mind, it's a comedy so there are goofy things in the series. But it's a decent show, it has emotional scenes, romantic scenes, and scenes that will have you laughing.
The OST, the cinematography, the casting, the production, the story... Such an awesome series featuring a very strong female character. Totally loved it, and happy I took the time to watch it.
Stuck with it to the end and happy I did. I was surprised by the plot twist, but happy I stayed with it. Yes Japanese dramas lack a certain heat that K and C dramas have when it comes to kissing and emotional scenes. But the ending was really good, and worth the journey.
I enjoyed this movie. The Social commentary it makes about Homeless people crosses all international borders, and we should remember we are all just a misfortune away from being homeless ourselves. I enjoyed the humor, the positivity in this movie. Sure it's not for everyone, but it is good for lifting one's mood on a gloomy day. IU is such a chameleon, she's very good at blending in and going unnoticed. I thought the casting was good. Yes the film has issues [ like the resolutions to the sub plots being glossed over] but over all it was enjoyable.
I thought the show to be good, until it wasn't. By that I mean you have a strong female lead that towards the end of the shoe becomes weak and leaves instead of takes a stand and fight. Granted, sometimes leaving is the best solution as it forces the other person to realize what they lost and causes them to change to win you back.
A quick binge watch series. I enjoyed it because contract marriages are an interest to me. For many, the pacing might be to fast, and the story a bit thin. Think of it as short attention span theater.
A relationship heavy story. For most of the series there is only the one secondary relationship that is happy. All the others have angst and issues. It's ok if you enjoy melodrama romance, but if you don't then you may not like this one. The romantic parts are cute and fuzzy, but are rather lacking until late into the series.
Simply a case of bad direction/writing. I think the actors did what they could with what they were given. Watch it because you are curious about a train wreck, or avoid it and use the time for other things.
But that was ok, because it fet right for the story they were telling.
