About fraud case, it's my first time hearing that, by googling I found out only pieces of information, that both sides sued each other. I didn't find decision of the court and who won the case, if you have this information, please share.

I didn't find police report, I read journalists articles made at the time it happened. Journalists called woman "a fan" and said she followed Lee Jung Jae to his car and tried to get there. Based on that information I assumed it's a sasaeng, because normal fan wouldn't do that.

That "another assault case of Lee Jung Jae with a man" never happened and debunked many-many years ago.

You can have your opinion about if someone can hit a stalker when they trying to break into their car or not, but it's definitely not at the same level as rape, pedophilia, or school bullying. Among all these people Lee Jung Jae's assault case looks like a white caw.

All I know is, it happened more than 20 years ago, and korean "fans" at these times were even crazier than now.
15 years ago idol Kim Jae Joong had traumatic experience with stalkers. He changed his apartments multiple times because his stalkers found out his address and tried to sneak into his house. Sometimes they even did it. On some show Kim Jae Joong said how he called police, and police said to him "They're your fans. They're just showing their love to you". And I know untill now some crazy stalkers still following Kim Jae Joong. He had terrible experience with all of this, you can google it.
Based on this I'm guessing sasaengs weren't taken seriously 25 years ago. But this is just my assumption, I can't know the real reason for sure, I'm not Lee Jung Jae's or that sasaeng's friend.
Kim Jae Joong said his stalkers se*ually assaulted him multiple times while he was sleeping in his house. I know for sure stalker were in his house when he was sleeping, because one psycho posted picture one time. I didn't saw articles about him suing these psychos. Either he didn't sue them, either police didn't care about that, either this information wasn't revealed to the public.
Many k-pop and k-drama fans know about sasaengs. Fans of some idols even knowing their social media accounts. But I rarely see articles about stalkers getting sued. Just because they weren't sued, or this information weren't revealed to the public, it doesn't mean stalker don't exist.

But it doesn't mean that specific drama will treat their characters such way. I didn't see previous projects of the writer, maybe they didn't treat characters with divorce as problematic.
There's not only main character who got divorced, all 4 characters of that drama got divorced. At least I read so in synopsis. Well, maybe only he divorced three times.

Let's not forget he was charging for assaulting his stalker, whom he hit while tried to pull her out of his car. This is information people don't ever mentioning while talking about his assault case.

I kinda halfway agree with you as I saw some k-dramas where boss hitting their employees was portrayed as a normal thing. Another one beyond my understanding is employers forced to drink alcohol at parties if boss offered it to them. The same with students and sonbae.
But at the same time, we didn't watch a single episode of that drama yet. It's too early to judge something you didn't saw.
Maybe it's your experience of watching another dramas talking, but still, you didn't watch that drama.

This is on korean, but you can just scroll first 5-6 chapters to see the difference between webtoon and drama.

I love Mun Ka Young and Choi Hyun Wook, but after watching 1st episode I'm desperate to write my 2 cents of complaints. Probably will delete it later, but now I'll whine.
They changed whole webtoon plot. The only similar thing is 30 minutes of the 1 episode, their younger days. The whole "16 years later" and after that is a completely different plot, has nothing to do with webtoon at all.
First of all, drama is office romance, he's her boss, she works on him.
In the webtoon it was "4 years later", they're 20s, they're students and they're neighbours! This has nothing to do with office at all. She's not an office employer, and he's not her chaebol boss.
The characters are also not the same. He's not "cold outside, soft inside", female lead's character not like her either. They're like completely different characters.
What's the point of doing adaptation of webtoon and adapt only 30 minutes, aka 2 chapters of webtoon?
I was so anticipated to that drama, as plot and characters aren't typical, they're cute and touching, and I was interested to see their story on a screen, especially with these good actors.
I still will watch it, I think drama can be good regardless of that, but as someone who likes webtoon and characters I disappointed by writer's decisions. If you're not adapting webtoon and changing everything, there's no point to call it an adaptation.
