Anyways, I feel like I'm one of those few people who actually think she has improved? I don't know she seems to accept depressing character before and I haven't noticed a body acting on her until her recent shows My Lovely Liar and Serendipity's Embrace. I can't believe she can actually nail quirky and stupid characters 😆 She's so funny and cute but not to the point she's overreacting.

But on the other hand, I want to commend the actor (Yoon Jion). He acts so well like damn why is he so underrated? I already noticed his acting since Lovely Liar and I can't say anything. He gives me chills

Maybe it's not your cup of tea. I'm a sucker for this kind of plot. The mundane and slow-paced kdrama are a breath of fresh air nowadays.

I'm loving the high school scenes. It's giving First Love Japanese series when they show ML's POV on how he fell in love with the FL.

And I love the confrontation scene of Hongju and the ex. She stood up for herself and that was so satisfying knowing she was stucked for years and girly is ready to move on!

I liked Sohyun too when she's still a child actress and still do. She has this unique facial expressions that you can rarely seen in Korean actresses' acting. With all due respect, while watching this drama, I've never seen Sohyun acting cringe here. I don't know which part of the series you're talking about. I can name 2-3 actresses that are actually acting cringe in every drama they're in but Sohyun is definitely NOT one of them. Maybe you're just so used to her acting calm and modest in her previous dramas but she definitely nailed this role without acting cringey.
And i cannot question Sohyun's chemistry with her ML costars coz chemistry is still there even with her second male lead. Even Knetz are still discussing who's Sohyun's costar that had best chemistry with her.

you can't bear to continue to watch her dramas yet you're still following every project she has. Wow.

if i were in her situation, i wouldn't assume too unless a guy literally states that he likes me. Plus FL thought that they're just close and ML still not confessing. Yeah it shows in her actions how he cares about her but in woman's pov it's not enough to assume something is going on.
