I find her dramas unique tho. Maybe there are dramas of her that weren't so good when it comes to script writing for example Love Alarm. But other than Love Alarm, i find them all good especially River and Page Turner

We all have different opinions about the drama but seems like I've seen this comment with the same username from two different websites. Haha if you don't like the drama, then drop and don't watch.

Been watching kdramas for a long time and this drama caught my attention recently. It is one of the best historical dramas I've watched so far..
This drama reminds me of older kdramas before like Jewel in the Palace and Jumong.
If it hadn't been with the actor's scandal, it would have been a hit drama but because of the scandal, many viewers turned their backs from this drama. I was not affected by the replacement of male actor since In Woo did a greater job than Jisoo I guess. Kim So Hyun as well did a great job in portraying 3 characters. I wasn't bothered with her portraying as a mother since it's normal to have young queen in ancient times if the King really wanted to marry a woman younger than them.

I ship the FL both with General Go and On Dal. Though the actor portraying General Go is much older than Kim So Hyun in real life, I can't see their age gap while watching them together onscreen. I didn't mind if the arranged marriage was pushed through because they look so good together as a Princess and General hahaha.

I also loved the side characters Hae Mo Yong, the little girl in Ghost Valley, Ga Jin's friends and many more. The villain Gochuga has done his best since he was so convincing to portray as a villain.

This drama went through so much. The refilming was so exhausting especially for the leads but it made me proud that despite all these, the leads managed to get nominated in one of the prestigious arts awards in Korea.

Maturing is realizing Hyeyeong is the better choice ❤️
Idk but if I were Jojo, I will also choose Hyeyeong over Sunoh.
Hyeyeong is the kind of man I wish to have in real life.

This is what I noticed also. While Sohyun suits with strong and badass character, Yoojung suits more with dramas that will only focus on aesthetic and beauty. She has a graceful face but her beauty doesn't seem to move me when she's playing a baddass or rude character. I conclude that they are totally opposite when it comes to acting and genre. But what I noticed also is that Sohyun also looks good in historical drama. Her face suits more as a Queen in historical drama while Yoojung resembles a typical teen daughter in ancient times.
But I'm loving Sohyun more because she can play both protagonist and antagonist which I really like when it comes to k-actresses. But let's be honest here Yoojung is visually appealing maybe because her face can be easily liked while Sohyun has a villain face which is intimidating sometimes. But overall, I'm leaning towards Kim So Hyun 😊

She has strong screen presence that even the producers will cast her as secondary female lead or villain, she will definitely outshine the protagonist. Plus all of her male leads are all famous now since starring with her.

I beg to disagree with your opinion that Sohyun doesn't have a female lead face. I find your reasons so petty. First of all, Sohyun started as villain child actress in kdrama and acted as a supporting role but due to her strong screen presence and acting skills, she finally got casted as female leads. I don't think she suits more with secondary female role because even her cameo appearance in Goblin and While You Were Sleeping were always praise by knets and her character is noticeable and memorable to the audience. And so far, Sohyun always choose a character that suits her age and I don't think she had a character that doesn't match to her. Among her peers, I find her the most suitable to every character she portray. Her face is versatile enough to play both protagonist and antagonist role. She can be
cutesy but not cringe, she can be badass but not exaggerating. She can be the bully one or the bullied one. Plus she's a chemistry fairy for a reason.
And if you don't like her style of acting, that's because she doesn't overact. She's well known actress who's good at acting and often praised by korean netizens.
And I think Love Alarm hate is already past due and casual viewers already liked her character as Mok Sol Hee in My Lovely Liar.
I don't want to argue with you about Sohyun's beauty coz she is already known as naturally pretty since she was a child and there's nothing to argue about that. That's all!

Yeah. I already watch ep 6 but what I really meant is that they should've used different scenarios wherein he won't kiss that way. I mean the writer should've preserved their first kiss in more romantic way to become memorable to the audience. Maybe my hopes are too high that I get disappointed to their first kiss haha

Wow you really had your precious time commenting about her looks? I totally understand that beauty depends on preference but to the point you're hating her just because of the way she looks is so sick! She may not be the most beautiful Korean actress but at least she stays true to herself and never done any plastic surgery just to fit in your so-called beauty standard. Her long list of fanboys say Hi!

I had high hopes for their first kiss but turned out to be disappointing. I expected it to be on a more romantic way or a memorable first kiss but I guess the writer ran out of ideas and the first kiss was like a cliche kiss scene in a kdrama wherein the ML suddenly kiss the FL without her consent and expect it that the FL had her eye widened and the slowmo made it more awkward lmao
