If this shows anything, it must be how messed up our lives can feel, especially for us, as gay people. No true love, no clear future. It’s like living in circles, without a real family. So many of us have felt what the main character experienced when he was betrayed, reaching the point where he seriously considered ending it all. We only have each other and our friends in the community. Really, who would want a life like that?
What are we really looking for? If it’s true love, it feels like we may never find it. If it’s just sex, then congrats—that’s all we can get, anytime, anywhere. But what are the consequences? Are we thinking about our health and our future? So tell me, for God’s sake—what are we seeking so badly?
