I agree with you… She does have SY as a support, but from her perspective, she’s vulnerable. She truly believes that just by being in his life, she’s putting him in danger. That’s why she left… she thinks it’s the only way to protect him.

Now, the one person she truly cares about is being harassed by her aunt’s brother, and she has no professional help, no real support. In her mind, she’s just trying to survive. 1. She’s in survival mode. 2. She doesn’t want anyone especially the person she loves most to get hurt because of her. 3. She just wants to be free from her fear.
The moment SY realized what had happened, you could see the rage take over. He’s always so easygoing, but this completely shattered him. He loves her so much, and I can’t even begin to imagine the pain he’s feeling right now… Poor SY 😭😭😭😭
These two episodes really opened my eyes to just how much darkness there is in the world… I’m so glad WYF has SY by her side… without him, I don’t even want to think about what she’d have to face alone. I don’t even know how to process what I’m feeling right now… anger? Rage? Because honestly, I just want to beat up her aunt’s brother for everything he’s done.
