Yi Bu character (head of the shadow sect) is acting so well, especially as the girl that can change face, lol the way he acted and the voice dub, I cant stop laughing
Love the way SCH is following SMY's order and at the same time complaining abt it lol
No cause honestly....Su Changhe can have my dignity if he wants...anywhere... anytime.
I am watching 3 as well, BR, SnB and WoF. Visual wise, I think both BR & WoF are great, SnB is just slightly below (cause the spider animation), but that's my personal taste.
Fighting, both BR & SnB are great to me but BR has a slightly edge with more fancy cgi, and also more diverse fights, SnB seems to focus a bit more on the romance side which is not a complain, just different scope and and SnB is broadcasted behind, so more to see.
For the most important thing to me, the story, BR defenitely has an edge rn, I like how the story is told, how different arcs are smoothly connected, how different character and different bonds are developed, it's not always easy to create cool well developed support characters (normally, they only spend time on ML/FL and other characters left very underdeveloped) and we have a lot of good ones here in BR, the plot is pretty smart in multiple occasions and the dialouges are cool too. SnB seems to be quite straightforward in terms of how this romance is going to progress, nice one. WoF, I have not gone too far to make the conclusions, but has the potential to have some surprise.
So it's related to popularity which is definitely connected to commercial succes (cause im pretty sure ads companies, brands & casting people looking into it), but not the direct measurement
the bromance is sailing sailing ~ XD I also love how not only SCH is acting out, pretending to be heavily injured but also the other guy in BR too, lol
It's like a chess game, a fight without sword. BR defenitely is at a disadvantage place for the negotiation as they pretty much know nothing about all the strings that SS can pull over them, but SMY fought through it smartly.
Knowing nothing about all the other shows or novels, I really like this and how it fast paced, a different story…
tbh, one thing I think is not working on GJ's favor is his makeup and lighting, the shading is too dark in multiple occasions and too white in some others, the eyebrows and eyes makeup are also off sometimes, all of this make it very hard for me to really see any movement of his face or eyes. For this makeup to work, he has to do very big movement or exagerate stuffs for my poor eyes to see anything lol. The same dark shading is on other characters too, but they appear breafly, so not really a big issue
so far a decent watch for me, great visual, nice fight, good story and pacing, nice characters. would have loved for the ML to have more moments to show his smartness too rather than just a simple righteous man all the time (in ep 9, looks like he knows more than he shows and has some calculation too)
Why do posts about Chinese dramas always get so many more comments than the Korean dramas? Anytime there's a post…
beside other factors that people pointed out, I think cdrama also has stronger fandom culture, fans tend to interact more too than just casual watchers
that's the biggest drop I saw among all the dramas I have watched ,and big enough for someone even like me who dont pay that much attention to rating to notice
Scriptwriter has a nice start, some refreshing idea to work with, and even a nice cast but end up doing it unjust. What a lame and undramatic way of revealing the truth, should have not dragged the whole 30 ep for that lame revealation. If it was planned to do it that simple way, should have done it at the beginning, after a long wait, things should have been climatic or at least surprising and smart. and the ending!!!! they forgot their romcom tag, or more like running out of budget and ideas and suddenly copy and paste all those typical plots from other plances that dont even fit with this particular drama, what a dissapointing ending.
I hope this is one of GJ's best drama next to WOH. (Plots are my liking. ) Just finished Ep 1, his typical staring…
I watched till ep 7, and for now he stays more rightous kind of character, Su Chang He, the close friend, gets the quirky character, closer to GJ's character in woh
