those words are meant to the granddma and that's why the flash back, js's mom has never been good to her, not even a single scene and she cried at that moment too, it's just the emotion exploded at the time and she poured it out to js' mom who has nothing to do with it.

I interpreted it as she cut her own hope and fell back to her ruthless dark side. In ep 8, she said she hated it the most when the grandma showed her love then she started to get hope, and then everything is gone, she realized that there is nothing such as hope in this hell place. I think she wanted to use ingang at the beginning, but then she also started to feel the hope when she is with him, with his family, that's why she hesitated to breakup with him after 1 year even though in the conversation with sj, they said he has limited benefit with her now. Then the grandma passed away, she fell back to her dark side, and wanted to cut every hope that she ever had. That's the words for him but also the words for herself about the reality of everything.
