So when the SML put it on her (as a parting gift after she rejected his confession) that's what happened. But it get's resolved quickly and it brings the leads closer so you don't have to worry. The angst starts in ep.18 and resolves in ep.20 if you want to skip it, but I would recommend you watch it cause it has many important moments for the story and plot.
