I love Jin Zhao, but Jiang Mu is doing all the emotional labour in their relationship. It doesn't sit well with me......even after the separation, girl, make him work for it πππ
I am completely sure that main bad guy is Emperor. He was one with black mask on the beginning. He wasn't happy…
Just finished ep. 23 and you're probably right, lmao they always make the emperors evil bro, out of several hundreds of dramas that I've seen, I can count the decent emperors on one hand only π€£π€£π€£
Turned my brain fully off. This was low-calorie, zero-nutrients nonsense and somehow I had the time of my life. It was so bad it bullied me into enjoying it. Plot evaporated, logic missing, vibes undefeated. This is junk food for the soul, and I devoured it because it had a lot of fun and cute moments too πππ
Yeah, I feel the same. Once she forgave him and they started working together (which is exactly what we, as viewers,…
Indeed, the tension and intrigue dissipated as soon as they partnered up, a common affliction in 99.9% of the dramas. I remember feeling the same when watching The Maid....Since this is 30 episodes, I feel like they will stretch it so much that it's gonna be a chore to finish it, because I don't feel like buying express for this. Lmao, was thinking the same during the steamy scene, like bro, the episode is barely a little over 10 minutes and you're inserting flashbacks like there's no tomorrow?, and during that scene at that? Facepalm
Yikes....no soft, just vengeance. π So no happy ending I take it? I have limited time to watch my beloved dramas,…
It has a happy ended but would not recommend if you want a cosy, lighthearted watch . I also go for heavy romance per general but this one is craaazy π
With regard to EstherYu's voice here in this drama ....It's not high pitched but calm and collected according…
Can't speak about others, but I donβt have an issue with her voice, I love Esther. For me itβs more that some moments (especially the styling and certain behaviors) feel a bit too infantilizing. I know itβs a direction choice, but when the ML is radiating maturity and masculinity, that contrast can be kind of painful to watch for me personally. Thereβs feminine and softnerss, and then thereβs childish β and so far Iβm mostly feeling the latter.
Iβm genuinely curious how old FLs character is supposed to be, because at times her behaviour feels very immature to me ( I was thinking 17-18 but she acts like 12) . The picky eating, avoiding certain foods (which is totally fine in itself, just sometimes the way itβs portrayed), some of the styling choices (not always, but occasionally), and especially how desperately she clings to the ML make it a bit hard for me to watch. Iβm already having a tough time with the pseudo-sibling trope, so Iβm really hoping her character gets some growth and maturity as the story goes on because I really want to love this π’
