It's what is shows on the calendar schedule, Youku is greedy af with this one cause we're getting express basically for 3 episodes which kinda pisses me off
Love how solid the leads relationship is in these last episodes. Hope to see this dynamic till the very end. Still, JBZ - you better tell your wifey about your little HG problem 😭
I totally respect everyone’s opinion, but I’ll experience the story in my own way — even if that means skipping…
Fair point 😂 I do think he nailed the role, no argument there. It’s just that at this point, I’m more done with the character rather than uncomfortable — I’ve hit my Situ Ling saturation limit. The drama’s got plenty of nuance and interesting layers, but I also think it’s totally fine to have favorites and get frustrated sometimes, even if that means skipping a few scenes. That was actually why I replied to the OP’s comment in the first place — I just felt it was a bit unfair to criticize viewers for skipping certain parts. You can still respect the art, support the show, and appreciate the performances while curating your own viewing experience.

I agree with you — that’s a really fair point. If all those elements together make the show feel off, then yeah, it’s probably better to just step away from it. For me, I was more talking about those parts that don’t really add much to the plot or pacing, the kind of scenes that drag a bit — that’s usually when I’ll skip ahead 😅.
And honestly, I do think Situ Ling’s character has layers — though at this point he’s definitely leaning more toward the darker side than gray. I also understand why some viewers feel frustrated (myself included); this kind of conflicted character arc has been used so often in dramas that it’s easy to feel a bit tired of the formula. Still, I think calling it ‘bad writing’ might be a little too harsh — it feels more like fatigue with a familiar trope than an actual failure in execution, so I completely get the point you were making.
Ep28 (early in ep)To be moved by the personal development of ambiguous characters like Situ Ling demonstrates…
I totally respect everyone’s opinion, but I’ll experience the story in my own way — even if that means skipping certain parts. I’m already supporting the cast and production through my subscription and ratings, which feels more than fair. Everyone’s entitled to their own take, of course, but that doesn’t mean I need to tolerate unnecessary judgement for how I choose to watch (and yes, I'm one of those people who skip).
I actually love it a lot cause his expression is so fond of her when he says that 🤣
Fair take. I don’t understand why the monthly subscription isn’t sufficient. When I first started watching cdramas I was flabbergasted they do express and early access.
he's been slowly getting more roles. this is the first time ive seen him in a full run of a show. his cameo in…
Omg yeees, I can't wait for ZY's release! I read the novel and they cast the prefect leads for it. That director is doing a great job of conveying his visions, including his mini dramas, he also shoots the dramas in a pretty short time from what I've heard which tells me he knows exactly what he wants and how to portray it. Haven't seen Love scenery and Lost You Forever is not really my type of plot so I dropped it around ep 20 something, but I remember the directing and quality was decent so I'm excited for TSTR one.

I actually think I did see that bts 🤣 there's something about this trio that makes it very awesome to watch, their dynamic is wholesome? idk, plus loved the directing of Blossom in general. So glad they are reuniting in the Tigers Sniff the Rose drama and hopefully they give him a cool storyline with a happy ending 🙏 Yup, watched both YG and MM, in MM they basically said - if you like the supporting characters, rest assured we're killing them off, welcome to the proverbial meat grinder ☠️ I guess you dodged an emotional turbulence by tapping out 🤣
