Can anyone who has bought express before explain it? Do you need to buy vip first and then buy express or can…
From what I know you usually need a VIP subscription first, since the express package is an add-on that lets you unlock the rest of the episodes early for that specific drama. The price isn’t fixed — it varies by show and region — but it’s usually around a few extra dollars on top of the VIP, I usually pay between 2.99 - 3.99 USD additionally to VIP and SVIP feature. But to be honest I never tried buying just the express since if I'm already watching the drama I'm having the VIP subscription minimum, so I can't be 100% sure

Yeah, the phrasing does sound weird — I caught that too. The only thing that makes sense to me right now is that he doesn’t want MY to see it because maybe the whole self-burning and reappearing part was actually done by JBZ himself. I’m not totally sure of course… unless they’re planning to hit us with some wild revelation later, because that whole bit was definitely confusing.
I’m confused about because the portrait burned itself and then right after a new portrait came into being and…
I think he’s got a full self-sacrifice plan brewing, and it probably started when Ming Xin mentioned that sky-swallowing formation thing. He wanted Ming Yi to believe he’s still drowning in resentment toward his master — that every time he sees her, it reopens the wound. I’m pretty sure he suppressed the heart imprint because he knows if she noticed the portrait restored (which I think JBZ restored it), she’d sense something was off immediately. We can already see Ming Yi realizing he’s up to something, just not what exactly. And I love that his allies from Jixing Abyss still have faith in him — they trust he took that crown prince position for a reason.
So the one to save the realm has to have spiritual veins and been poisoned by the heavenly grief and automatically…
Lmao I think that’s exactly why he cut ties with her — he knew she’d dive straight in, and he’s convinced it’s too dangerous for her. I’m so with you on those hero-complex protagonists who’d rather self-destruct than team up. Like bro, hello?? The math is mathing — your survival rate skyrockets if you just work together 😭💀
I'm relieved it's over tomorrow lmao LITC is going to be one of my top favourites of this year but damn, when I enjoy a drama I get too emotionally attached to the characters and that's a whole hurricane of anxiety
I saw the ep.33 trailer hug clips a few days ago and thought it's gonna be a reunion, looks like it's a goodbye? Bro, just stab my heart would you? Someone pass the emotional defibrillator 😭
They discarded Ming Yi just like that. I mean ofcourse she didn't win the Qingyun Tournament for 7 years, ofcourse…
I love how, despite everything and everyone that wronged them, they both stayed pure-hearted — still choosing compassion and moral integrity over bitterness.
And my god… today’s episodes were rough. I should’ve waited for tomorrow’s express so I could cry it all out in one sitting, because now I’m just emotionally unwell for the whole day 😭💔
Especially ep.33 trailer 💔💔💔💔
