I love both dramas, and Su Ye’s struggles definitely add depth to his character. But for once, let’s appreciate one without downplaying the other—TFF gave us a beautifully nuanced story too, just with a different focus. Sang Yan might not have had as many personal struggles shown on screen, but that doesn’t make his role any less meaningful. Luckily, the bonus clips gave us a glimpse of his layers, and honestly, his eyes alone speak volumes. His character shines through his actions, and the depth of his emotional understanding and quiet gentleness is just amazing.
