I went into this drama with pretty low expectations, honestly. After reading a ton of brutal comments, I thought it was going to be a total trainwreck. But surprise, surpriseโit turned out to be such an entertaining watch! Sure, itโs your typical melodrama where the tropes are unapologetically troping, but beneath all the clichรฉs, it actually addresses some really relatable fears and issues in relationships. I found myself connecting to a lot of it on a personal level.
The leads absolutely carried this drama for me. Their chemistry was off the charts, and I loved watching their relationship evolve. The skinship and tender moments? Chefโs kiss. And can we just celebrate the fact that LYR finally got the girl? YEEY! I was rooting for him so hard, and the payoff was everything I hoped for.
Of course, it wouldnโt be a proper drama without a few over-the-top elements: obsessed second leads, some truly unhinged characters, and those classic boring, dragged-out scenes. But hey, itโs all part of the package, and let me tell you, this drama brought the tea! I honestly donโt know what the writers were smoking while scripting this chaos, but whatever it was, they should share with the rest of us.
Now, letโs talk side couples: the second lead couple had me rolling! They were so extra and ridiculous, but I adored every moment of their antics. The third couple, on the other hand, was justโฆ meh. I couldnโt get into their storyline, so I shamelessly skipped most of their scenes. No regrets.
All in all, I got exactly what I came for: a cute romance, plenty of kisses, a shirtless male lead (yes, I said it), and a beautifully satisfying happy ending. What more could I ask for? Loved this, and Iโm leaving with a full heart and zero complaints. Peace, yโall!
The previews for ep. 26 & 27 got my blood pressure skyrocket, I'm stressed ๐ค Also, very glad karma got to DM's mom and hubby and what a plot twist with the sister, I'm pretty sure she's the one they've been mysteriously showing us a few glimpses here and there, at least that's the impression I'm getting. And someone, please find a cure for SM's poison!! ๐ญ
I feel so sad about DM's death but at least she was spared a lifetime misery with that POS of a husband and the terrible sister-in-law, but dang ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ
Episode 22 was amazing ๐๐๐ For those who were saying this drama was getting boring and they should move the main plot, well you got your wish in ep.23 y'all ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ
All due respect, just stay out of the comment section if you're so sensitive to spoilers cause yeah it should have a spoiler tag but there are thousands of comments,ย it'sย inevitable geez there are way worse spoilers out here ๐
I love this so much! Finally we got a nice wholesome wedding for our leads, no contract marriage or convenience, nothing like that, just two people who are made for each other, and agreed to spend their lives together, it's so refreshing to see in cdramas in the middle of the story , I'm giddy as Song Mo is now ๐คญ๐คญ๐คญ
