Those comments are from other toxic fandoms. They seem to vote ahead on certain dramas to bring the rating down. I vote 10 for every single epiaode because i actually like evrry single episode. As a fan of Gu Mans romance novels and her dramas, Shine on Me is just a breath of fresh air. I think I have rewatched every single episode, lol.

Firstly, she doesnt tell him because he first doesn't even know the whole story of them. LY knows that there was something but he doesnt know what. In the novel, she did tell him when she felt he was ready to know. In the novel, she also asked him why he never asked about her situation with XZ and he told her that he knew she would tell him when she was ready. But whether Gu Man sticks to the novel for that part is yet to be known.
