Agree, it was a poor choice in terms of writing. Kind of takes away the character growth from her.
How is it taking away ones character growth with a scene like that. When ones character grows, it is not all flowers. You will face setbacks and thats what makes one grow even better. The script writing in this is more realistic. It happens in real life.

And that's the beauty of GuMan's writing. It is more realistic. When one is worried, you have a lot of things going on in your head that you don't have time to look at the other persons perspective until you calm down. I think XG was much calmer than other dramas I have seen. She didnt shout at him in the corridor, she saw him, stopped, then ran towards him and asked.

I think you're demanding ahead of yourself. It is better that she takes her time to fall in love again. She is being honest with herself. She is taking her time to heal, build her self-confidence and then let herself fall in love again. And this drama is exactly showing that growth in her.
