Exactly, i couldn't mention XG lines in my response because it will spoil the script for later when she gives him his closure. I am all for 2 sides to a story. He has a mouth he should have asked her if the rumours were true right there and then.

I get what you mean about misunderstandings but for me and probably many other women, harsh words can damage a soul. Every relationship has misunderstandings and are still healthy but not every realtionship is healthy when the guy says harsh words to belittle someone who likes him. For a person like XZ who has high IQ has very low EQ. I see how he is with his mother. He loves her, respects her and cares for her and even his brother so why the hell does he do the opposite to someone who likes him. He cannot blame this on misunderstsndings.

Is that what you got from the drama until the last episode you watched? That half the story was her falling for her crush? So you didn't watch when the ML took revenge on her at work and overworked her? He was not all roses and chocolates in the beginning. He had his fair share of bullying her at work when she did nothing at all to him. You mentioned that dhe has to do something after she falls in love with ML? Her journey isn't there yet and this is the lovely thing about this drama that we get to see both their growth in deeper love. She has to gain her self confidence, love herself and choose the right people around her before she can fall for another guy again. Her story is not finished yet.

That is not in the novel. She doesnt have any feelings for him at all. But he did hurt her deeply with all the words he used on her to belittle her. He tried though. She is a strong young lady.

I am wondering whether they both took the parts because they don't have any intimate scenes and also hardly any one to one scenes. Well, that is yet to be seen.

If it was only misunderstandings, then that would be fine BUT he was bluntly rude to her after all she had done for him. He called her pathetic, entitled and leaching of her parents. He didn't even answer her when she texted him apologising for coming in betweem him and Ye Rong. He let his childhood friend call her a liar and even embarrassed her infront of her friends. Whats even worse is that because of his doings, Ye Rong even said that if XZ can reject her no matter how rich or pretty she is then she has hope. Now, tell me a guy like that stands a chance against Lin Yusen who even cried when she got hurt becauee of his friend.

Is anyone loving XG & LY(FL &ML) ships from both their bffs? ❤️ Even before LY pursued Xigua, both their bffs were already trying to set them up and both kind of had a feeling that LY liked XG.

This is why we need to pass the message around to those that love this drama to rate the episodes so the rating can go up.

The only good thing is that he loves Xigua and even his moonlight will never make him change his mind about his daughter.

I enjoyed the Mother and daughter talk about business. You can just tell Xigua gets her intelligence from her Mum and how calm they both are despite XG's dads chaos lol. This is one trait of ZJM that she can easily portray. She is known to have a very calm personality especially at work when there can be lots of scenes to get through.

Yes, even without the novel, you can understand the drama. Xigua's conversation with her Dad in the early episodes was what actually setup the scenes for when his moonlight and goddaughter would appear later in the drama. A lot of viewers missed that bit. I am sure you answering questions helped a lot who hadn't read the novel or missed some scenes.
