I think you have misunderstood the scene!! His mother wants him to meet HIS PREVIOUS NEIGHBOR FAMILY who is coming to their house. They're guests and he is obligated to greet them. Its very different from a blind date. In asian cultures, parents wishful thinking isn't a blind date. A blind date is when the man and women MEET WITH THE PURPOSE OF MARRIAGE IN MIND and you make the intention explicitly obvious to the other party. He completely ignores his mother and does WHAT HE FEELS IS RIGHT. In previous episodes, he didn't go to the house and went to his uncle instead. It shows that he doesn't want to have any real conversations with the mother. I don't think I will judge him yet...too soon

I think I am quite the opposite. I saw him in a republican drama and loved his performance in it. So, I immediately warmed up to his character in this. He managed to create amazing chemistry with her (the previous FL) and with this FL. I think he has that star quality which is superior to what is "perfect visuals" at the moment in China.
Also, i found the 2nd ML to be more mature looking than both of them...so I checked his age...and he is indeed much older which is appropriate for his "older brother" role.

They looked soo beautiful together in that SCARF SCENE ...and in the other scenes. They have such gorgeous chemistry. I love how whipped they are for each other. Also, that sleeveless top....wow! That was deliberate by the director...wasn't it?

He can't tell her...She might spill the secret to that evil man or tell him something that will further create a wedge between them. Also, i don't think he wants the relationship to go official before everything has been solved. She might become the target...if she becomes his wife.

I haven't seen no tail to tell...people are waiting for more episodes before they start. In my opinion, one episode should be released everyday. The 2 ep per week schedule is responsible for bad kdrama ratings. The drama needs to a masterpiece for people to hold that long

Well, I have seen about 3-4 dramas of hers. I have given her mlre chances than i normally give other actors. I don't hate her as a human but her performances are mostly underwhelming to me. Very limited range. If you liked her, you can be happy with it. I don't understand these "fans" trying to protect their millionaire celebrities and berating people for not liking their work. Lol! Parasocial relationships are getting more and more pathetic everyday

He's kind of whipped for her already... she's such an admirable woman too. So, it makes sense that he fell for her. She's very strong! These characters are so inspirational and practical. They persist and fight...never give up!

I always let FANTASIES MARINATE...so I will wait until 10 episodes are released but...ya'll ...tell me...ARE THERE ANY AMERICANISATION ATTEMPS? Because I hate that. This is a korean mythological character so I am hoping they have kept the drama very korean

I will add one thing to the ML's character- He is extremely professional and level headed. He has taken some very tough decisions as a boss that would be hated by his private self. That maturity is very admirable.

Probably like a 3 year age gap.
