Omg… I’ve never in my drama-watching life wanted to delete a character as much as I want to delete his MOM.Like…
Nobody fully knows what he did...he is very clever. Frankly, i feel like she has PTSD from people cursing her and wishing all things bad upon her and her family when her husband died. She kept apologizing for something she didn't do and things seemed out of control. She had nothing to hold onto and it was difficult to raise a son with that name. I bet she is indebted because THEY GAVE HER SON A SHELTER. SHE WANTS TO FORGET IT. Her son is farr more stronger than she is. He is probably like his dad.
After watching Episode 10: I had huge hopes for this drama, but it just didn’t land at that level for me. It…
Wasn't that...thing...hong sisters work...what was that drama...? cry tears or something. That was her worst work. It was terrible. These sisters always try to overcomplicate things and make everything POETIC AND DEEP. Its never deep! They don't understand the beauty of simplicity
Why so much hype for this Pei character out there ? Is it real or fake narrative by this Pei simps just creating…
No! Most people like the main couple and the ML. Pei thing is probably PR driven. He seems like one of thousands of mini cdrama characters... in fact,it seems like he came out of a mini cdrama. Almost like he will pin the FL against the wall and utter some cliché dialogue like "I know you can't resist me". 🤣 His attitude is like that. I don't hate him at all...in fact, he is a good addition to the drama but his character can only be LOVED BY THE TEENS or someone very young. You need an underdeveloped prefrontal cortex to like him over the ML.
The ML's character is more sophisticated and it sees like the writer based his character on a real person she/he knew. He is genuinely worth admiring despite his flaws.
Just a question. Are kdramas better as a binge or two a week format?Personally, I'd say two a week is better.
Depends...this one would have scored 7 point something if they had not released ALL THE EPISODES...because of how it changed genres and how messy the plotlines are. I could finish it only because of binge watching option and the ML
After finishing the entire thing....I consider this drama to be a decent one because KSH acted soo soo well...like he always does. Otherwise, the script kept twisting like a zombie till the very end. They made it too complicated when a simpler story would have given them a higher audience approval. NVM! Never regretted watching KSH
Currently on ep 9I need to hear what you guys think about this episode. That douchebag industrial park guy just…
Gurrll...too late...there was a whole discussion on him and because the actor is soo good I didn't want him to follow the script. But anyway, whatever happened...their scenes ...both good and bad hit soo well and its genuinely enjoyable to watch them as actors. As for standing there, it happened wayy too quickly and technically she assaulted him first. You see, the evidence was against her and she would have gotten a police case on her so he was asking the people to not film. Things happened wayy too quickly behind him. So, i believe...if they wanted to show him as a bad guy...that scene was not executed well or deliberately left like that to cause confusion.
I dont feel anything when they are kissing. Am I the only one who feels so?
In cdramas, certain directors direct the actors to kiss in a certain wayy....you know..."censor appropriate kissing". Also, BOTH ACTORS ARE KNOWN FOR NOT THE BEST KISSING SCENES unless specifically directed. Personally, i don't care about kisses as long as the chemistry is fire. Some of my fav romance movies didn't have a single kiss.
So...its blended quite well and it won't appear too mucb in later episodes. There's a gorgeous scene in the game part though. You will have to wait for it but the drama is quite enjoyable
HIRO is so fine. ML will just never do it for me and I hate that for me but he just doesn’t appeal to me visually…
I freakin LOVE THE ML...watched it for him and him only...wasn't into the drama at all. Unnecessarily complicated story. Like Hiro but...frankly, not my type
Well, he might be a nasty competitor but financial criminals can be sentenced to death in China. So, THAT'S WHY…
He isn't a criminal so far...and he absolutely had no idea about financial crimes (which are common in the business world unfortunately...haven't seen one billionaire who is clean). So far...he is much better than his father
Well, he might be a nasty competitor but financial criminals can be sentenced to death in China. So, THAT'S WHY…
No. He has been raised like that. Its called conditioning. He has never known any other side of the story. Even we don't know what exactly happened. The ML is also investigating and only guessing so far. MLs mom is on the side of his father. Its not easy to see through BS...especially when its the man who raised you.
I keep having butterflies in my stomach. Finally I could get over my pain from 'Start-up'. Although Kim Seon Ho…
Seon Ho dealt with soo much BS which affected his career but this man...DESERVES ALL THE LOVE AND RESPECT for his craft. He makes you fall in love even when the script falls short
Pei Zhen said "I might be morally bankrupt, but I draw the line at illegal activity." Bro you are living…
Well, he might be a nasty competitor but financial criminals can be sentenced to death in China. So, THAT'S WHY he fully draws the line there. Also, i blame his father for putting venom in his mind. He still turned out to be a far better human than him and if his father dies or something, he might be saved from becoming him.
Can I say that I genuinely appreciate the HUMANE aspect of the FL. I mean, the way she sympathized with the 2nd ML but at the same time distances herself from his personal matter by not asking what happened... that's some amazing LAYER to the FL's character. She has an idea about the moral dilemma he is facing but at the same time...doesn't wanna be a part of his problems.
Frankly, i feel like she has PTSD from people cursing her and wishing all things bad upon her and her family when her husband died.
