I actually disliked that drama...despite its hype. There was surprisingly overacting there...and I loved the other modern drama that the actors did together

"Love between equals" lol! A fantasy... there's no equals in the world. There's difference is class ans its the most prominent difference in the whole world that very much exists in the modern time. Also, they didn't marry for status and money. Thirdly, you are STILL...to this day...connected to the deeds of your family and people. This is very much the political ans social reality of the world we live in. Closing eyes doesn't eliminate the truth...of course, looking beyond that is a choice.

They are not soldiers. That's the point. Those are VOLUNTEERS. Normal soldiers wouldn't close their eyes. This was their first battle

Actually I liked the brother more....AS AN ACTOR. The way he created amazing chemistry with both the girls (FL and his girlfriend) is insane. Of course I don't mean romantic chemistry but the tension. I have seen the white haired guy's previous work and he's pretty good as well. I would like to see BOTH OF THEM IN MAIN ROLES.

You have seen how rebellious she is. She dressed up as a man to study and totally chased after her crush. Ain't your average princess who cares about propriety.

She STUDIED MEDICINE. You see, she talked about all those herbs in great length but the soldiers laughed at her. That means, she has great knowledge of medicine but has only treated nobles before and she didn't know how to treat people when there is severe lack of resources. That's why she had to experiment. I hope that explains it for you

Well, its a common trope in dramas to protect people...and its used by all types of people...like mother for son, husband for wife, friends etc. Drugging someone might be a henious crime in modern times but FOR THIS ERA, its absolutely okay as long as the intention is to save. My main issue is that SHE THINKS ANYONE CAN BE IN MILITARY. I understand Mulan being in millitary after years of training but her killing one of the generals just doesn't make sense. Let's say she has amazing ASSASSIN abilities. Still, assassination and millitary fights are different things. Millitary requires strategy ...to even reach the big fish, let alone kill it.

Well, the novel doesn't matter in front of logic. Female centric and rational should go hand in hand. I am not expecting realism at all but something so preposterous is hard to swallow. I am still enjoying it but twists like that take away depth from the drama

Generals take all decisions and make war strategies. PLEASE WRITER...don't give her unnecessary abilities that she doesn't have.

I loved this drama soo much but I have to agree with your points about constant "he's so handsome" narrative being over the top. As a person who finds unconventional looking men just as gorgeous as the pretty men,I was tired of hearing how pretty he is. Ironically, it diminishes his other charms.
